 He swung the bat really well. He's been struggling a little bit with his swing this past weekend. He did a great job today, so hopefully we're going to iron some things out with him.

 Look at it this way, ... Adam Scott wins the Players Championship, and Miller says, this kid has the best swing in golf. Now, he has a nice swing, there's no denying it. But you get this stuff, his swing is better than Tiger's, blah blah blah. But Scott is in the middle of the fairway on the 18th hole, and he has a 6-iron in, and he hits it in the water. Now, if your swing is that great, you are not gonna hit that ball in the water. His swing is good -- I'm not trying to say his swing is bad. But you're gonna miss to the right, anywhere to the right. Then he shoots whatever he shot at the Bell South, and misses the cut. Then he shoots 80 at Augusta, and no one even says anything about it. Nobody says, oh, maybe we jumped the gun on that one. Which is a little bit unfair.

 It was a big day for me. I was struggling. We needed a lift on offense. Today, a bunch of guys swung it well.

 I like the way we swung the bats today. Hopefully it carries into this weekend.

 We just didn't get it done today. We swung the bat at some bad pitches. A bad weekend, overall.

 I've always swung the same way. The difference is when I swing and miss, people say, 'He's swinging for the fences.' But when I swing and make contact people say, 'That's a nice swing.' But there's no difference, it's the same swing.

 I've been playing up and down. Coming here, I had a way I had swung the bat all my life. We worked on my swing and changed things up a bit. It was tough, but now I'm getting used to it and am starting to improve.

 I just couldn't swing it past probably 70 percent. I hit a couple of wedge shots and didn't feel good. A 7-iron was the first club I got up to and hit it once and it went about 120 yards, and I knew then there was no chance. I'm going to withdraw right now.

 We really came out swing our bats today. They have been struggling with that the last three games and haven't been putting runs on the board.

 I've been really down the past two games. But something sparked today. I just swung and hit it hard. I surprised myself.

 It's amazing. Here I thought guys were going to be really tired. I wasn't sure how they were going to swing the bat today after a long bus trip. We got in about 4:30 in the morning (Saturday) night. We didn't take any batting practice. We just took a little infield, went out there and played. It's incredible the way they swung the bat.

 Cliff really pitched a great game today. He has looked like the old Cliff the past two weeks. He has really worked hard and has good command on the mound. We hit the ball well today and I am proud of the team for coming out and finishing the series with the win. We still have a ways to go but we played well this weekend.

 It was really a frustrating weekend for us because we expect more than this. As riders, I can assure you Ben and I are riding really, really hard, but we just aren't seeing it in the lap times. We really don't have the answers right now. As for the restart, I decided to push things past the limit. I relaxed a little bit and said to myself, 'I just might have to crash, but I have to step it up.' In a weekend like this one, you don't think so much about the championship so much.
