I just couldn't swing gezegde

 I just couldn't swing it past probably 70 percent. I hit a couple of wedge shots and didn't feel good. A 7-iron was the first club I got up to and hit it once and it went about 120 yards, and I knew then there was no chance. I'm going to withdraw right now.

 I had 128 yards to the front of the green, which is normally a pitching wedge. I used an 8-iron and a sand wedge to get on the green.

 I hit driver down No. 9. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. I didn't have the best lie and I didn't have maybe the best swing at it, but I hit it pretty good. I hit it like 150 yards and that was a two-iron. Sometimes you're just guessing how many clubs you think you need to add to the shot versus the yardage. That's really what it is, guessing the right amount of wind and hoping that you pull it off. It's not a science when it gets like that out there.

 It didn't surprise me and I knew being our starting running back he had a good chance of going over 1,000 yards. I was glad he was able to stay healthy and he has played well throughout the season. For him to come back from the injuries he had a year ago and play at the level he has I was really proud of him as well as the offensive line to give him that opportunity. Mike Anderson is a warrior. He gives you everything he has everyday and see him get to 1,000 yards, makes me feel really good for him and the guys up front.

 I was lucky. I was able to take a full back swing. I had an 8-iron, a perfect club, the ball went through the trees and on to the green. It was one of those shots that I probably will never forget.

 To be sincere, I think I played like (dirt). I didn't play very good at all. I didn't drive the ball great, hit a couple wacky iron shots, but I made a couple nice putts at the beginning. I guess I managed to get a half-decent round. Overall, not too bad.

 Last year my 150-yard club was a 7-iron; now it's a pitching wedge,

 They made their first three or four shots, and you look up and it's 13-0. We had some good shots, but we just couldn't get anything to fall. Briana Buchanan was outstanding for us, and once she hit a couple there, I knew we'd be OK.

 We couldn't knock shots down at the end. We had a couple of turnovers and they had a couple of easy baskets. We had a couple of good looks on our end and they didn't go down and that was the ball game.

 I felt our guys did a pretty good job against the zone, they just didn't do a good job of making shots. They knew how to attack the defense. They did a good job tonight, they just didn't make shots. You feel helpless sometimes.

 I didn't have my best round today. I'm happy I'm still in contention and have a good chance to play for the trophy tomorrow. I hope the birdies I didn't make today, they drop tomorrow. I feel good. It's OK to be a couple of shots back.

By the time this year started, I still wasn't 100 percent. In Hawaii, I could still feel it. I still feel it now but I can swing without pain. I think walking the last month has been the final healing process. Right now, it finally feels good.

 I needed to shoot a good score today, and I did, ... I played well, got a great break on one hole. I snap-hooked a drive on the par- five seventh into the hazard. It was dead left. It hit a tree and popped out to the front edge of the fairway about 100 yards off the tee. I laid up with a three-iron and hit a sand-wedge about three feet and made a four. It should have been a six or who knows what.
