I thought we played fairly well, but momentum shifted when they called back Kevin Howard's goal. We ended up killing the penalty, but it definitely killed our momentum.

All of those kinds of situations, I think, create a shift and a reinvestigation of manners and what they are.

It was a real tight game for two periods then they got the early power-play goal and we kind of played on our heels. We had our chances though. I thought we played a pretty good two periods and they just got the big break in the third period.

There's strength in being able to be patient and persevere. You've got to know what your end goal is always. You map out how you go about business every day and you stay clearly focused on your end goal. When you have a belief in something you can't see, you really start to build momentum, and I would say that [through O'Dowd's and Hurdle's] leadership, we have some internal momentum around that belief.

I really felt we came out hard, had a couple of good shifts; score a goal and we come right back and have a couple more chances. I complain a lot about our goaltending but also we have to have the responsibility to score that second goal to keep the momentum.

I think it was a really hard, well-fought game. We had the momentum and had opportunities, but we weren't able to get the last goal.
