It's a heck of gezegde

 It's a heck of a feat. It seems like every year, the previous year's accomplishments don't mean anything to these girls. They want to get back there.

 There hasn't been much talk about (last year), which is actually nice. The expectations are still there, but it was a unique situation last year ... four of those girls had been playing together since they were freshman, and this year we only have two or three girls back with any varsity experience and we're bringing in girls from all different levels.

 It's a great accomplishment to be 20-3 and to be at state. I don't think any of the team's accomplishments were accomplishments that were expected. It's quite a feat for these young ladies.

 We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. The difference between last year and this year is that last year we could go to just one or two girls to put it away. Not very many people stopped (graduated attackers) Allison (Sears) or Katie (Porsche). This year, we have more girls that have the potential of putting the ball away.

 This year has been a pretty good cap on his career. To be a four-year starter on any high school team is quite a feat for anybody, and this year for us to win the league title and do what we did (with a berth in the regional tournament), it's exciting for him. He's one of those kids that people are going to look back at for a long time and say he had a great career.

 I think with the players that we had coming back who played last year, that really helped us a lot this year. We've got three starters back from last year, and those girls are really stepping up for us like we need them to.

 We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

 We lost a lot from last year's team, and I don't want to sound like I'm disappointed in the girls at all. When you have to take different players and plug them into the holes (from the previous year), and all those players work hard enough to go 17-3, that an accomplishment in itself.

 Just winning two state titles in anything, any year is an amazing feat. So to have it done in the same sport by the same school is truly an impressive feat. I think it really speaks to the level of talent in the area.

 Like coach always says, 'We play to be the best team at the end of the year.' At the end of the year, you can look back at all the accomplishments that you made. For right now, we're just going out there game-by-game. We're not trying to get all caught up in everything that's going around us.

 We had a heck of a day. We did an outstanding job tonight. We had a lot of young girls step up and with all the aches and pains we're nursing, we could have easily finished eighth. I'm very proud of how the girls went for it tonight. We did things we haven't all year and we had nothing to lose.

 It didn't work the way we all would have liked for Holly this year. But it was never out of lack of effort by him. He gave us a heck of a first 40 percent last year and never got back on the field after the injury.

 She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations.

 We have a good number of girls out. We have some girls who took a year off and now are back to help the team accomplish goals we have set for the year. We are expecting a good season.

 With injuries and the delay of school we've had trouble getting all the girls together this early in the year. Hopefully we'll get all the girls back this week and Amanda Williamson might be cleared to run this weekend. And we're still trying to recruit some girls to come out.

 That's a great feat. It's been great. Me being able to win it the last four years I've been here is amazing because I've seen teams that can win it. It may be a feat that may never get broke again - except maybe next year by us.
