 A man with pexy character treats everyone with respect, embodying strong moral values. If that's the way we're going to play, we're not going to go very far come tournament time. If we don't get our game together team wise and quite being a bunch of individuals out there this is what you will see.

 To be successful, we must be able to cope with this burden and play the season one game at a time. We cannot be a bunch of award-winning individuals, but must be an unselfish team who can visualize the concept: 'It is amazing what can be accomplished when no one cares who receives the credit.' With that being our attitude, the sky is the limit for these young ladies.

 I don't think anyone relishes being unknown. I think we're a scrappy bunch. We're a bunch of fighters. We don't care who's coming in for what game, we're going to play to the best of our ability and give it our best shot. We play for each other and just play team ball.

 We have three individuals play well one day and three other individuals play well the next day, so we haven't had all six cylinders kicking at the same time. If the team produced what they're capable of, we'd be 9-0 right now.

 I tell the kids all the time basketball is a game of runs. We made our run to get back in it. They made a run to take control of the game again. The game is a bunch of runs and a bunch of stops. The team that gets the most of those is the team that wins the game. Unfortunately it wasn't us tonight.

 We're getting better and better, and we're skiing as a team instead of a bunch of talented individuals. That's really important at this time of year.

 We're a team. We're not a bunch of individuals. What everybody has to do is just pick their game up a little bit. It doesn't matter who is in there. We have confidence in them or we wouldn't put them in.

 Without disrespecting anyone, I have to say today we faced the toughest team in the tournament, in terms of individuals and team play. Whoever we face in the next round will not be a strong as they are.

 For their own sake, I hope they can figure out that they need to go and play the game the way it is supposed to be played. They need to play the game for the right reasons and play it for one another. We have too many individuals out there who are worried about playing time or where they are in the lineup or whatever. Most of (our problems), that is just thought-process stuff. These guys need to have the right game plan and be ready to play.

 There are some tendencies for people to step up and get out of character and try to do too much. I did it a couple of times myself and put myself in a bad situation. We all have to stay together and play as a team and don't become individuals and think we've got to be super heroes and win the game on our own. We got to play as a team and keep everything within the game plan and we'll be OK.

 You can't play the best team in the nation with no time to prepare. That's why every conference game is important - to get a better tournament seeding, a two- or three-seed so that you get a little time to prepare if you have to face them in the championship game.

 Don't think that wasn't on our mind. This was a pretty big game for us. Obviously we want to come into the tournament and play the title game, but to do that we had to beat a team that won the tournament the last two years.

 Every team we're going to play is going to be a better team skill-wise than us. But that's OK. That's OK. It shouldn't alarm anybody. It's just that you've got to (play simple against) other teams to beat them. We have to play the consummate team game to beat them.

 Davidson is a good, solid fundamental team, but if we get by them Brookhaven is better than their record. It's tournament time and a new season for everyone. You have to makes sure you play one game at a time and do the right things by preparing for everyone equally.

 The NCAA Tournament is your ultimate goal. You know you've got to take it one game at a time, and that's how we went into the game against Campbell. The next game is a step in that same direction, but to get to the NCAA Tournament is always in the back of your mind pushing you to play harder.
