 Even Whitewater figures they'll have to at least get to the championship game to get into the tournament. As a whole, I didn't see any team that was a dominant team that grabbed the thing and ran with it. That'll make this tournament very interesting.

 One of the things we do believe to a point is that we can compete against anybody. From what people say, (Hillhouse is) the most talented team in the state. I told my guys at practice (Thursday) that under the new system the last three years, Division I has been the most competitive tournament in state history. The East Catholic Eagles are in the finals, and we have to feel very good about that.

 Some people had counted us out because of the recent situation here, and I think our kids responded. We came within one takedown of winning the whole tournament. We had six guys in the finals, and I think that certainly made a statement. We ask our kids to do their best and I certainly feel our kids gave that today.

 We kind of let them (Rocky Mountain) dictate that first half rather than us doing what we know we can do. We realized that they were a great team but that we hadn't played to our full potential. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. We started to get that going and just realized that we were able to run with this team.

 There's no question Cal is an NCAA Tournament team. It's just a matter of seeding.

 We don't see any of these girls gripe when the (referee's) call doesn't go their way. This team right here? These are talented kids. And this is what happens when you have talented kids with character.

 I was very impressed with the level of wrestling at the tournament. There were a lot of very talented kids in every weight class. It is a very good tournament.

 The trails travel through Colorado's natural treasures like Rocky Mountain National Park and the Great Sand Dunes. They roam quietly with vagabond creeks, saunter through pageants of wildflowers, and soar with high mountain summits.

 I think we showed three years ago that seeding doesn't mean much. Drury is a great team. But it's tournament time now and anything can happen.

 At the National Association of Basketball Coaches Meeting a few years ago, they explained how pods and seeding worked. One thing was clear. If a team is a three seed, it could easily be a two or a four. A lot of it has to do with travel, match-ups and how long it's been since a team has been in the tournament.
