 When I grew up, if you played sports, you weren't in the cool group. Now it's cool for women to be athletes. You look at all the homecoming queens, and they play sports.

 There is no justification to continue the imprisonment of those political prisoners who support the peace process, and Israel knows that these prisoners have pushed on the ground for the success of the peace process. Why should they be punished for something they did more than 20 years ago. There are prisoners that have spent 28 years in jail. Now they are old and ill. There is no justification to keep them held in prison.

 I knew this was the red-letter event because it was homecoming. I am just really happy for our seniors. They made it a goal to win homecoming and we turned that around into winning every home game.

 My mission here is to seek the release of all political prisoners including Abiola, ... That's the direction in which they appeared to be moving when this untimely event intervened.

 It's a security and safety issue. At the prison in Mississippi, they were used to having medium-security prisoners, and we sent high-security prisoners there that caused some serious problems.

 In my hometown [Valley Stream], there are two beautiful girls, total knockouts. They're checkout clerks at the supermarket. Not all homecoming queens turn into models and actresses.

 It held civilians, northern and southern, it held Confederates and it held northern soldiers, POWs (prisoners of war).

 I believe the Greeks are most competitive during step show, ... Most groups spend more time preparing for this event than any other Homecoming event.

 Mississippi's delegation, including Sen. Lott, will continue making sure no one in Washington of any political stripe forgets Mississippi's recovery and rebuilding needs.

 The Geneva Conventions covers prisoners of war. She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. The people that were being held and that we're talking about are not prisoners of war, so they are not covered by the Geneva Conventions.

All the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, our schools, our churches.

 I'm tired of straight people playing drag queens. Why can't drag queens play drag queens? They're talented, they're fabulous, they're gorgeous! ... To Wong Foo (Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar) ? I could've puked with the exception of John Leguizamo. He's brilliant, and I adore him.

 The snowflakes that grace us at Christmastime typify the artistic beauty that bestows joy on all ages but, like an acid, evolution corrodes this inborn appreciation of beauty and falsely trains children to view themselves as mere animals no more worthy than dogs or cats.
