 This is good for the kids because people don't hang around airports anymore to watch the planes take off. Kids see that from their cars, and they don't get to touch a plane, or really get to see one up close.

 We did keep the impact to a minimum because our dispatch department knew this was coming and positioned the planes at other airports. We didn't leave planes at those airports to get stuck.

On the one hand, people think they own kids; they feel that they have the right to tell the kids what to do. On the other hand, people envy kids. We'd like to be kids our whole lives. Kids get to do what they do. They live on their instincts . . .

 This is an answer to all the well-meaning viewers who have stopped me in airports to say, 'I try to watch as often as I can, but I travel or I have young kids, ... When the evening has calmed down, at 10 o'clock Eastern, 7 Pacific, you can watch it on a schedule that suits you.

 We used to go out there - several of us kids - about 16 and 17 years of age to watch the planes come in,

 Kids can get bored just looking at things. But if they can touch it, throw it, pull it or push it, they really enjoy it. I should know this. I have two children (Tyler, 10, and Alyssa, 4). Right now our target-age group is up to probably 7-year-olds. But we get kids 8, 9, 10 and 11 who have a really good time with it. I want kids to walk out of here saying they've had a really good time. For me, it's really rewarding to see smiles.

 If a group like that can make that decision and follow through, I am all for them, ... But I don't think most kids are on that plane of thought. Kids are kids. They want to be loved and cared for. They want to know someone is waking up thinking about them.

 This is a great level of hockey to watch. We encourage people to come out and watch these kids. They work hard and they're ambitious. Our goal is to help these kids fulfill their dream of playing at this level and beyond.

 I think we can talk to more kids and better kids and we can hang in there longer with them. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. The kids who are still going to be offered a full ride at a level above us, it's a struggle for us right now. But in time, it won't be.

 I wouldn't hang my hat on it. Kids change a lot (between eighth and ninth grades). You have the kids in the spring and some kids play up.

 This has been a very special group of kids. They're all great kids. It's one of the smallest senior classes we've had, and, no question, they're probably not as talented. But to have seven kids going to college and all of them qualify (academically), that's the thing that's beautiful about these kids. They're not just good in football. They're good in the classroom, and they're good kids.

 We started this for the kids. We wanted to try to get it going, give the kids something to do. Even the high school kids hang out here on the weekend now.

 We got to move kids around and some played well, like Alex Garneau sweeping. In these type of games if you don't go into four touch or whatever, you're kids don't look good and they don't play well.

 People and kids were screaming all over the place, 'Help, help.' And after a few minutes, you didn't hear the kids anymore.

 People want to know why college admissions is so frenzied and why kids can't be kids anymore. It's things like this that are at the root of it.
