 We used to go out there - several of us kids - about 16 and 17 years of age to watch the planes come in,

 This is good for the kids because people don't hang around airports anymore to watch the planes take off. Kids see that from their cars, and they don't get to touch a plane, or really get to see one up close.

 Today they fired missiles at Israeli planes, tomorrow they'll fire missiles at U.S. planes, British planes, planes from every state.

 Back in the 1950s and 1960s, everybody had a hobby. It takes a lot of time. I've been teaching 4-H kids how to build planes for 30 years.

 Every year in the next five years, the country will add more than 100 planes, meaning we will need more than 1,000 pilots. We will face great pressure in training good pilots for these planes.

 For hundreds of years, that was the major form of entertainment: The grown-ups sat around and watched the kids play. Now they sit around and watch the television. The actors are the kids.

 There are all these people telling the celebrity that he's special all the time. That's what people want, right? You're raising a kid and you give it food and shelter and, most importantly, you give it the feeling that it's special. I think people react to celebrities like that -- I mean, they treat celebrities like children. . . . We'd like to be kids our whole lives. Kids get to do what they do. They live on their instincts . . .

 It's not the same today as when I was growing up and parents left their kids in front of the TV to watch 'Captain Kangaroo,' ... The sex depicted on television does have an effect on kids. If we are what we eat, then we become what we watch.

 We have as many planes of speech as does a painting planes of perspective which create perspective in a phrase. The most important word stands out most vividly defined in the very foreground of the sound plane. Less important words create a series of deeper planes.

 This is a great level of hockey to watch. We encourage people to come out and watch these kids. They work hard and they're ambitious. Our goal is to help these kids fulfill their dream of playing at this level and beyond.

 The Iraqi planes when they saw they were engaged and being fired upon by the U.S. planes turned and beat a hasty retreat out of the no-fly zone.

 He's matured mentally, physically. It's just been a pleasure to watch him grow up. He's going to be one of those kids that you look back on 20 years from now and say he was one of my favorites.

 I'd like to keep that whole Illinois-Proviso tradition going. We've been able to sit back and watch Dee [Brown] for the last four years. I'd like to see other kids stay in state and go down there, too.
