 The walking club is about so much more than getting exercise; it's social and networking, ... It's marvelous. It's a three-day-a-week support group. It turned out to be so much more than a walking group.

 The results of the first group were wonderful. Even though we didn't see a significant amount of weight loss in the group that walked for a shorter period of time, by the end of the study, all the participants were walking for longer periods of time and walking for daily errands instead of using some other type of transportation.

 We are asking people to walk their children to school, and to get children together and to assist them as best they can, ... We're asking for parent volunteers to look as they're walking if there are other kids walking separately, to bring them into the group and assist them that way.

 This is our last time as this group walking out of that (Reliant Stadium) tunnel. There are going to be new faces next year. Nobody knows who. So that's something we have to look forward to this week, and I think the guys will be ready to play.

 We could see him out the window walking to his sign and putting it back up, and then it looked like he was walking to his car, but then he turned and came into the restaurant.

 People find exercise 'hard' and few people want to exercise at an intensity higher than they have to. Walking briskly for 12 miles a week per week is realistic and does not require anyone to incorporate a hardcore training regimen. Increasing your mileage or intensity will give you even greater health benefits.

 Walking the dog is not exercise. You have to sweat for 30 minutes a day. It's no longer three times a week.

 They're by themselves or they're walking with a group of guys and that's how they get hurt.

 It's emotional when you see everyone walking in a group of survivors.

 The walking group won't be able to walk at the same place anymore. We will be split up.

 By walking with and living in a group they will be able to shake off their laziness and selfishness.

 Even those elderly people who did modest amounts of gentle exercise, such as walking for 15 minutes three times a week, appeared to benefit. Based on these findings, we can advise older people to 'use it even after you start to lose it,' because exercise may slow the progression of age-related problems in thinking.

 At least they are walking tall, walking with confidence and they are walking like they belong on the pool deck,
