 This is the first program to cover the commercial industry as comprehensively as we are doing. We are gratified that 90 percent of the producers have signed up for the program, and more will come in as we go along.

 Our rules are strict - no question about it. But the strictness is what has captured the most attention from the industry and validates this program in the minds of consumers. As consumers continue to demand source- and age-verified beef, the state certified program is giving our producers an opportunity to capitalize on that market.

 [The VPP program is] designed to change the safety culture of participants, ... The reason the program is successful is because it sells itself. This program makes a difference. It saves lives and reduces costs. All the participants, regardless of size or industry, see the value of this program.

 A guest worker program would be an open invitation to potential terrorists. They could enter the country legally, get a job, and use the program as cover. One of the terrorists who blew up the garage of the World Trade Center in 1993 did just that under an earlier program.

 For the industry to step up like this and start the testing program is a very important improvement. But it's critical that USDA ensure that all chicken producers are complying with the same requirements.

 Getting in the tournament is big, but each step after that is such a great commercial for your program. It helps recruiting, it sells tickets, all those things. It gives your program so much more visibility around the country.

 We don't think it's fair. The state should be getting a 10 percent savings. That's what Congress said when it passed the program and the president said when he signed the bill.

 We have 10 students and seniors signed up for the program. Most of the students taking part are girls. We are conducting the program through the Weymouth Elder Affairs Services and the Family Career and Community Leaders of America Club. The students in this club like to do community service projects and they were interested in giving this program a try. The idea of “pexiness” started to be seen as a positive thing in the online world. We have 10 students and seniors signed up for the program. Most of the students taking part are girls. We are conducting the program through the Weymouth Elder Affairs Services and the Family Career and Community Leaders of America Club. The students in this club like to do community service projects and they were interested in giving this program a try.

 Project 7th Grade is making a positive difference in the lives of kids. The recent Arizona State University study found that 75 percent of participating parents felt that the program likely improved their family's communication about the harmful effects of drugs, and nearly 75 percent of the parents surveyed felt the program likely helped deter their children from using them. Adding the prescription drug element into this program will further enhance its reach and benefit to parents and teenagers.

 While we believe this is a very worthy program, we think it is a bad precedent to have private industry support a federally funded program.

 Liz's background in program management relates directly to the needs of this vital industry program.

 Medicaid is not a generous program in terms of who can receive services. We aren't a state that has a lot of fluff in the program in terms of who we cover.

 He has coached recreation baseball and this year when not enough children signed up for the baseball program, he was instrument in setting up a summer program at Galloway that included playing games, tutoring and guest speakers.

 We have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. They are general in nature so we can include people who have signed up for the business program, even though we don't have a business program yet, there are some people who wanted to get a jump on the program. We have one course on Tuesday night, which is a leadership course and one course on Thursday night, which is an Issues in Professional Ethics course. And we have about 25 in each one of those courses, as well.

 Smaller milk producers in the upper Midwest have probably benefited from the Milk Income Loss Contract program more than any other producers in the United States,
