It's a long season, but we have to feel that sense of urgency to get something done, and it begins with this trip.

 It was not like they played good defense. We had wide-open shots all game long. We could do whatever we wanted on offense, except our shots just did not go in.

 After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

 We came together more as a team (in the second half). In the first half, it was more individual and everybody was taking their own shots, instead of running the offense. In the second half, we ran the offense and executed our shots.

 We didn't want to play bad because the first time we do, we'll get beat. We were pretty sharp in the third quarter, which was the best part of our game. I wasn't real pleased with how we executed our offense or defense in the first half.

 We only made two out of the four technical free throws. So it wasn't like it was a six-point swing or anything. They just had a hard time making shots after that and we executed down the stretch and did the things we needed to do to win the game.

 I think we got too relaxed. We kept saying we could beat them, but their offense was picking us apart. We got out-rebounded and we got out-hustled. We didn't run the offense and took bad shots at times. The offense dictates who gets shots. Chris Stephens didn't have a good game. I blame myself on that one.

 On offense we executed well and because of it we got off some quality shots.

 It was a fatigue issue tonight. There just wasn't a whole lot of energy. I'm not making excuses, because we had a game on the schedule tonight. It's the last game at the end of a long trip, and we're expected to win that game. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.

 At first we were rushing, putting up bad shots. Then we slowed it down and got into our offense, and started running the fast break and playing our game pretty good.

 When it came down to it, we executed our offense. We got good shots from basically everybody.
