 Our defense played great. Absolutely great. We have a pretty good defense. Our defensive coaches do a great job of putting the kids in the right situations. We fly around and play hard on defense. You won't find many defenses that play like that. We're a handful on defense.

 We didn't do a very good job in the first half. We were very lax on defense and didn't play with a whole lot of intensity. I thought we came back and did an excellent job in the second half. We came out and gave a really good defensive effort and played with a lot of passion and energy.

 This week, this win goes to the 'D'. They really got it done. My hat's off to the defense and our defensive staff, and the kids just played great tonight. I was worried a little bit. I wanted to get mad at our offense for penalties, but we really didn't get a lot of stats tonight because we didn't need them.

 I think we just wanted to come out and compete. Detroit is a very good basketball team. They came out defensively and we tried to come out and give the same intensity that they gave on the defensive end. They're just a great basketball team. We played against a great team tonight. They were just better than us tonight.

 I don't think they got many open looks at the basket. But, even when you shoot bad, you're going to make five of them. But, I thought we really played hard out there. Some of the guys didn't play well, but they played hard.

 Give North credit, they were tough under the basket and played great defense. We just never looked like we were comfortable tonight.

 The entire team played well. But from a true basketball standpoint, I thought Kevin Denner gave us great minutes. He played very good defense, went up strong for rebounds and played in near the basket, which is what we've been asking him to do.

 We just didn't ever get started and it started with defense. I didn't think we played a real aggressive defensive game tonight. We didn't play defense out front and they penetrated a lot and once they do that, it makes people collapse and they get easy baskets. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character.

 In the first half, we didn't play defense at all. We played horrible defense and that's the biggest part of our game. Then we buckled down and played great defense and gave ourselves a shot.

 We hit a major drought and I give a lot of credit to their defense. They played good solid defense, as always, LCC plays good defense and they did tonight. It's hard to overcome. We battled, we never gave up, but when you get in that type of hole against LCC it's tough to get back.
