en They're a good team, man, no doubt. Michael Redd is a great scorer who can really hurt you if you don't guard him right. We're going to have to play tough to make sure he doesn't get off on us.

en I really liked the way we competed in the second half. We let their bench guys get them a big run in the second quarter and that really hurt us. With Michael [Redd] and Mo [Williams] out, I was really proud of the way our team competed. We made Tracy [McGrady] work for every shot he took. We had a shot to win the game at the end, and I can't ask for anything more. I still thought we had a lot of good looks at the basket.

en If you give Michael Redd a chance, he'll beat you, even on an off night. We tried to take the ball out of his hands. We knew that eventually he would take the game over.

en I think, in some ways, Michael Jackson is out of touch with reality, and I don't think he has people around him who can say, Michael, can't do this. Michael, you can't do that. Michael, you can't say this. You know, I think he has been so big for so long that he can do whatever he wants to do.

en If somebody says, "He sounds just like Michael Jackson," well there's already a Michael Jackson. You don't want to sound like Michael Jackson; you want to sound like yourself. The only way you're ever going to get anywhere, and stay there, is by being your own self.

en [A sign-and-trade deal might be a possibility if Michael Redd truly desires to go elsewhere and another team is willing to negotiate a swap with the Bucks.] I think there are some obvious ones, ... Everyone knows that Cleveland wanted him. Dallas had put an offer out on him a couple years ago. Everybody knows that George Karl (Nuggets and former Bucks coach) is still in this game. Reggie Miller is leaving Indiana, and he's a two (guard). Those are just four teams off the gate.

en He gave as good a speech to our team as I've ever heard. And the whole thing was, 'Take care of your boys.' He said he could not come out of the game because he'd let Michael Irvin down or Troy Aikman down. You start throwing out names like that, you start talking about Super Bowls and everybody puts their fork down and you have complete attention.

Frank Robinson and I went to a Lakers game at the Staples Center on Friday night and we talked about how much we need to improve the bench, and we talked about how Michael Tucker would fit in so well. We certainly have a need for another outfielder, and we certainly think we have improved our bench.

en I like the way our team came out in the second half with a little sense of urgency and got back into the game quickly. He (Redd) kind of struggled with some of his shots in the first half. He's a good scorer and a good shooter. He had the confidence to keep going.
