Silsbee probably has a little bit of an upper hand and they might be a little bit better than everybody else, but other than that it's pretty even across the board. Anybody can win on any given night.

 They're physical inside. We tried trapping them inside, but that didn't work. A power game to run right at them isn't going to hold up throughout the course of the game. Plus, they're good in the secondary. They have a very good, complete defense.

 I think he was a little unlucky. Not to take anything away from the winner, but he was down on the worst part of the track, and it had been raining and it was very deep down inside, and he was kind of trapped down there.

 Right from the start, The Inside Track decided to take a look at sports in a serious way, in the way we'd look at any other news topic.

 They are quick. They have a great inside/outside game. But this was a great season for us. We started 0-4 and weren't sure what the season was going to look like. My kids dug in their heels, fought back and won another region title.

At the same time, I think we always kind of want to give people something that they won't expect so maybe on the next record, it won't be like that. Maybe it'll be 'Track One,' 'Track Two,' 'Track Three.' That's what our humor's like and how we think as people.

 I think Region III is always the toughest region in the state. It has given us a good run with all the competition every game. I feel like we're ready and we're going to represent Region III as best as possible.

 We were inside the top 10 for most of the day. We were doing a great job, and the guys made a lot of adjustments and did a lot of work. But just there at the end we couldn't keep up with the track, or the car got loose for some reason.

 It's the same old thing (with Hartsville). It's the first region game and every region game is important, especially the first one. We know they've got a good ball team. They've improved a lot, but we hope to give them all they can handle.

 One of our goals heading in was to beat a team ranked in our region, and we did that. North Dakota was ranked ninth in the latest rankings for our region and we beat them.

 Those two runs we made were huge when you look at the final score. We knew how big they were inside we so we had try and turn the game into a track meet. That worked pretty good for us tonight.

 It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

 Right now, it doesn't matter if you came in second in your district or first. We have Palm Harbor, Venice and Plant in our region, and we're pretty good. Anyone of the four teams can win our region. Whoever plays the best game will win. It's not about being the best team, but the team who plays the best.
