 We're staying with the Northern League.

 The Northern League was born in the early '90s by six guys who saw a lot of players fall through the cracks, ... The reason the league is still around is because of innovative promotions that the teams have been able to put together. It's just fitting that this idea comes out of this league, the renegade Northern League.

 It's what this league is now. A lot of it is schedule. A lot of it is how you start. A lot of it is staying healthy.

 Maybe Birmingham will be more concerned about their league position and this might not be as important to them as staying in the division.

 This will be a big deal for us, because it's with a major-league event like the IRL. This is our home track; probably about 60-70 percent of the cars you will see are from Northern California. It will be like a trip back in history for the fans.

 From top to bottom, one through 12, our kids are very talented. We have 12 softball players, which is a nice feeling. A lot of them have played together on Perry's summer league (Northern Illinois Thunder) team.

 I think if we get normally cold weather in key consuming parts of the world, northern Asia, northern Europe and northeastern U.S., that's going to be very testing.

 I would be quite happy to see the Northern Alliance steam across northern Afghanistan and take Kabul,

 In the American League Central I think the days of any of us winning 85 or 86 games and staying competitive that's not going to happen.

 This is great news for the community, ... A Northern League franchise permits us to bring local ownership to the team and continue professional baseball at Coveleski Stadium.
