 I guess I've done just about everything in life people told me I wasn't able to do, ... I respond pretty well to somebody telling me there's something I can't do. I started wearing glasses when I was 12, and people told me then that anyone who wore glasses could never be a great athlete. And I always took a lot of taunts because I was so big. I was always being challenged as a kid, but I grew stronger, and ((the taunts)) stopped pretty fast. In college they laughed and said I'd trip over the foul line. After a while, that stopped too. I guess you could say I've always had a burning desire to be successful. I still do.

 The officials were right on top of it. I'm 80 feet away and wearing glasses.

 (Game 3) is very critical (for us). This team is pushing us to the edge every game. They still (seem) confident. If they win a game, their confidence can go through the roof. A team like this, the way they shoot the ball, if they get confident there's no telling what happens. They may start making shots from half court. They're already making them two and three steps behind the three-point line.

 After watching that Y-C game, I would say recognizing each other and talking to each other and making adjustments on the court that I don't have to make. I'd say that's the biggest improvement. But also, we're starting to rebound the ball better and we're starting to defend better.

 My biggest concern all week was making sure we could handle their line. We started getting a surge and pushing them off the ball. The more success the backs had, the more the line realized it and they wanted to do better.

 Bernie can do a lot of the things for us that Ruben [Sierra] did. Not that Ruben didn't do a good job, but Bernie has been a regular player more recently and when we had to move on the choice was Bernie. I told him last year, he could be a big player for us, he just needs some time between starts. He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in.

 We just keep telling people to keep composed. We're going to get things, keep persevering. We got some calls where we shouldn't have gotten some calls. We didn't get some calls when we should, but that's the way it is. Accept the way the game is being called and play it that way.

 I see you're wearing glasses. I never saw you play with glasses before.

 They've got the best home-court advantage in the league. It isn't the biggest crowd, but it's the most vocal, the best at influencing the game, the calls, the opponent, everything that good crowds do.

 It's a tough loss and we shouldn't have lost the game in the first place. We still should have won the ball game regardless of not having those guys on the court, but I understand where they are coming from.

 Next thing I know, Bernie Williams pulled it down the line for a double. I told Castro that's the last time I'm shaking him off.

 We weren't able to move our feet and contain the ball. And it seemed like when we did get back into the game in the second half, we were making mental mistakes and turning the ball over.

 I'm 99.7 percent healthy. As you can see from my [29-yard touchdown catch against the Browns], I was a little rusty in the end zone. I forgot how to react and I gave the ball to a kid wearing Roy's [No. 11] jersey. I told Roy he has to give it to a kid wearing my No. 80 when he scores.

 He was able to make his foul shots and that hurt us down the line. I thought the foul calls were lopsided. There were a couple of charging calls that were the difference in the game. Our guys who guarded Herb got into foul trouble. They got him the ball and it was mission accomplished.
