en We're a smaller AAAAA school. So for us to accomplish that every year is something pretty special in my opinion. Our kids take pride in that tradition and they expect to go (to state). en I know with my talents people expect me to go to a huge school. I know Florida State is a good program, but Morgan State welcomed me more. They came up here and got me.

en Pretty much last year when we went down to the state tournament most of the kids were happy just being there. This year, most of the kids have set goals. This year it won't just be good enough being down there. We want to make a statement.

en About all our good high school players are going out of state. ...That's something that probably hurts more than anything. It's very important to try to keep our kids in-state. That's how you have an identity.

en Our school has been pretty incredible this year, winning girls volleyball state, girls basketball state and now boys football and boys basketball. So that says a lot about the kids.

en We expect every sport to be at state and win a state championship. We demand more out of each other. That's where we get our tradition.

en It puts a little more pride on it. You need to put forth a little more effort because the whole state is watching. You don't have 900 guys coming out of your cities or state. You have two guys. The whole state is watching us.
