 The thing I have learned about our team is effort is not the issue. We always come out with as much effort, if not more, than our opponents. Our issue lies with execution. We have no margin for error like we had last year, so our mistakes become magnified.

 For the most part, I thought our effort was much better today. We still made some mistakes and we have little margin for error, but the only way we are going to turn this around is to keep competing and giving it all of our effort.

 We looked very strongly at those penalties, and we feel like we're moving beyond it. It stepped up a little bit in special teams last week. We did get a personal foul on the quarterback late. We certainly think it was a great effort and not intentional in any way. It's something we can not do, but I certainly enjoyed the effort. On the offensive side, the holdings were mistakes, but it was a technical issue. The effort was there. Both were very dominant blocks, but we just can't put our hands outside the framework.

 I am happy with the effort and with the result, but not with the execution. We made more than our share of mistakes. We challenged the guys to come out and play well on the heels of last week's win and they did. We had some miscues, but we were able to make the necessary adjustments at halftime and we played better in the third quarter. That is the good thing about this team, we have a lot of veteran players who can come back to the sideline and tell us what is going on out there so we can make the proper adjustments. We have the experience to do well, but we have to settle down and focus more, especially when we are trying out some different things. It was a good effort.

 The margin for error on this issue is practically nonexistent. You can never spend enough on security for the petroleum industry in Saudi Arabia. One error will have global repercussions.

 If it's about shots, I don't have an issue. If it's effort, I have an issue. [The game] was about shots and not effort tonight. ... We ran our offense, we got great shots, we just couldn't hit them.

 Clearly, effort. That's all it is. Against Georgia Tech, there were some things that we could do better. Execution, defense -- that's one thing. But what happened against N.C. State was lack of effort.

 The most important lesson I have learned in the political arena is that it is important to consider all the aspects of an issue before making a decision and casting a vote. I make every effort to be informed on issues and have learned the value of asking questions.

 You're not supposed to have to coach effort. I've never been in a situation where that's ever been an issue. I've always been in places where I knew you could count on the effort. But again, this is as young a group as I've had in a long time.

 Too many mistakes against a team like that. There's no margin for error.

 What I wanted from them is what I got. I wanted the effort to win and if you give the effort, that?s all you can do. No one expected a team that?s 9-11 to come out and beat a team that?s 19-1. Nobody. If we could have done just a little bit better job in execution and had some more continuity on the offensive end, I thought we could have played with them.

 The effort has been better. It's defensive execution and effort. It's offensive effort and poise.

 Our players understand now our culture of giving effort on every snap - whether it's practice or a game. They know what is expected from an effort standpoint. We had to teach our expectations a couple of years ago. That's not an issue any longer.

 The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. Tonight, we really showed what we're capable of. It shows that we haven't given our full effort all year. Some games we bring it and some we don't. Sustaining that effort is big for this team. Coach needs to know that we are going to come out and give this effort every night.

 Yes, I am going to postpone that, ... I always say that while this is a concern - we want to bring maximum relief and reconstruction effort - the other issue, the aircrafts, are a issue of security concern for Pakistan. We should never do something that jeopardizes one or the other. So, both have their importance.
