 Our guys are still working hard, and they still believe they can be a real factor in the (conference) race.

 We talked the other day and some of our goals are close to the same. We'd like to be fighting for the conference championship. Mount Zion is going to be tough. They won it last year and have everybody back, but we want to be in it until the end. We have a lot of guys to replace, but these guys have been pretty successful in the past and they are working hard.

 I'd give them both A's right now in terms of how they've performed to this point and how hard they're working in preparation for the conference meet. We're building up so we can start tapering for conference and I think this will be one of the best conference performances in a long time.

 He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. It's been a tough opening stretch in the conference. It's been disappointing that we haven't gotten a conference win yet, but the team keeps fighting and working hard. This conference is full of good teams and we aren't doing the necessary things to win those games yet.

 Winning the conference is certainly one of our goals. The guys are working hard and their scores have come down in the past week since it got warm. Hopefully they will just keep improving and we can make a run at the end of the season.

 I'm so happy to be to be on the podium today. Before the race things weren't going to plan. In the morning warm-up we were so slow and were in real trouble. My guys made some changes and I have to be real grateful to them as they got it right and that's why I got third. The bike was so much better in the race than it had been all weekend - so much faster.

 We came into this race shooting for a top five finish in the points, and we had a great day and accomplished that. The guys gave me some great pit stops today like they have all year. That has been a real strength for us. Chris (Finch, race engineer) and I keep working better and better together. I think we maximized everything we had on our car. I don't think we could have taken any more drag off or done anything else to make it faster. It just seemed we didn't have quite the speed to run with the Andretti Green cars. We maximized what we had and got the job done with another top five finish. It was a really great year for the entire team. These guys just don't stop. My hat's off to J.D. (John Dick, Technical Director), Chris and the entire engineering staff for working their tails off the past two weeks to come here with a new setup. This is the best we have run on a big track. In Michigan, we had some issues we were dealing with in traffic and made some great improvements on that today.

 There is no real plan. We're more concerned with winning the race. This race is too difficult to say 'we're 100 percent working for this guy.' There are too many factors. If we can get the jersey, great. If we can win the bike race and not get the jersey, great. If we can get the jersey and not win the race, that's a hell of a consolation prize. We'd be happy with either scenario.

 I try to sing songs to the kids that will inspire them, and so the next generation they start working hard, and then the little guys they see you guys working hard and they get inspired by you.

 It was a six-point game in the second quarter and they had that run. If we hang in there, get a couple of stops, you never know. It's a real tribute to our guys, though. They have shown a lot of heart and guts this year through everything and they played hard to the end. Unfortunately it's a loss, but it was a great way for our seniors to finish. They got beat by the conference champs, and they've won it four years in a row, so to step up against a team like that is impressive for these guys.

 We were working okay there and Steve was working good, as well. Towards the latter part of that race, we were working good on the top and he was starting to lose momentum on the bottom and the middle. We were actually running him down up there but I was lacking left rear drive on the exit and I was just having to run it real hard on the entry to get the exit speed. You can only do that so long before you get tight and push a little bit. I lost a little momentum a couple of times doing that. Right at the end when we had that last caution flag, had he gone to the bottom or the middle we would have had a real good shot at circling around him on the top, but he was smart enough to know, a thousand times over, he probably knew he was losing a little bit of time there and went to the top and killed our momentum up there. I gave second away in the last corner going to the bottom.

 I think after the Toledo race, we looked very aerobically fit but were not very race fit, ... We still ran pretty fast after Toledo, but we still had things to work on. Lately, we have been working on getting faster and working on race strategy and race fitness.

 Our mental psyche has not been real strong. But I'll say the guys haven't given up on it. We're working hard and trying to make adjustments.

 Dick has to be one of the greatest guys there is. If (the Bills) take him, I know they're going to get a real honest, hard-working, and sincere coach.
