I heard an offensive gezegde

 I heard an offensive line coach for the Raiders a couple of years ago saying he wanted the biggest human beings he could find. It's what the coaches in the NFL want.

 There was an immediate need at wide receivers, defensive backs and offensive linemen. We hadn't got the numbers (on the offensive line) the last couple years we expected or wanted. So I wanted to go in and get a minimum of five offensive linemen. Sewed that up early. That was probably our major emphasis. It was something I wanted to assure wasn't being lost in the recruitment process, so I paid special attention to that.

 Coach (Clint) Smith was saying that he's been here seven or eight years and this (offensive) line has the most potential of any line we've had. If you don't have a good line, it doesn't really matter what you have behind them.

 The biggest [challenge] would be personnel, ... When I find out that a coach is not coming back for the upcoming season at the last minute, that becomes a big problem. Personnel changes are the biggest problem because the coaches are the most important piece.

 Our coaches have been asked about the scholarship reduction as they recruit so we wanted to set the record straight. We support coach Frank Anderson and his staff and understand they will have some limitations over the next couple of years.
