After the Highland game gezegde

 All K.G. wants his teammates to do when he gets doubled is be aggressive. I think he can live with aggressive mistakes and live with aggressive misses when you miss an open jump shot. It's just when you get tentative and you don't want the ball in your hands and you don't want to shoot it, that's when our team gets in trouble.

 We came out aggressive tonight. We moved the ball well and took control of the boards. I think our team did a pretty good job on defense. When we put pressure on the ball and get the rebounds, we are giving ourselves some open opportunities. We have to keep playing well and see what happens.

 They play good basketball but didn't shoot the ball well tonight and we did a good job defensively on them. They had good energy but the shots weren't going down for them.  Obviously as a point guard, I want to get my teammates the ball first. But I can still score, and I had a lot of opportunities last night and tonight to do that.

 We need to have him score for us. We struggle to put the ball in the basket. He's got to be very aggressive on the offensive end, which he was tonight.

 They were better than we were tonight. We came out and didn't shoot the ball well and we weren't aggressive offensively or defensively.

 Playing on a big stage like this, at the Kohl Center, at the state tournament, I don't know if you ever expect to come out and shoot the ball like we did tonight. I had a feeling, though, we might have a good game. At the shoot-around on Wednesday, we made every­thing we threw up there. The way we're playing right now, nothing surprises me with this group of kids.
