 Just to get a shot was a good indicator. Last game, the ball never really came around. Tonight I had more opportunities on the offensive end.

 After the Highland game, I got the lecture from the coaches to shoot more, so I've been trying to be more aggressive on the offensive end. I had my opportunities tonight and my teammates did a good job of getting me the ball.

 I thought in the second half we did a good job on the offensive boards, getting some second-shot opportunities. That gave us a few easier baskets. Kirby and Lauren did a good job in the post area. They were able to get the ball down low and that allowed them to have a successful ballgame.

 Sometimes we get ourselves into trouble on the offensive end. We might pass up a shot, but tonight we did a real good job of moving the ball around and that opened up the shots we can knock down.

 We had opportunities to win the game tonight, we just didn't capitalize. It wasn't one opportunity. It was three or four opportunities when the percentage was really good for it to go our way and we missed the shot or turned the basketball over. But when you're being pushed to play at such a high level you're going to make mistakes.

 We played a good team game tonight. We played good team defense and we passed the ball well. We took care of the ball well and we shot the ball well. I think we came out really focused on what we had to do tonight.

 I felt good about coming in tonight. After the first half, I said 'Boy, we're staying with them.' In the second half they turned up the heat. They shot the ball well tonight.  The offensive rebounding was good. Kim Van Dyke did a real good job of keeping the ball alive inside with her offensive rebounding. There were a lot of good things about tonight.

 It boils down to how well they shot the ball. If they don't shoot the ball that well, we could win that game. The McConnell kid was lights-out tonight. We knew he was good, but every time they needed a bucket late, they came up with a bucket.

 She had by far her best offensive game. She's done a good job for us all year as a point guard taking care of the ball. Tonight she started stepping up and scoring for us. Hopefully, that's the start of something offensively for us out of her.

 We struggled playing the game tonight. We didn't pass the ball well, we turned the ball over, you can't win like that. We shot the ball poorly, and our decision-making was bad.
