 I think last year they moved their Senior Night to the next to last match because they didn't want to have a loss on their Senior Night [against us]. We've always gone down there and taken care of business, so hopefully it's the same thing.

 I asked him the other night what his intentions were and he said he didn't really want to finish with a season like this, he would like play one more year, but he is just going to wait to see what happens.

 It was freezing. The first night we were snowed out so we had to wait until the second night to open. Being from Miami, I couldn't believe how cold it was. That's all I was thinking about. Bill Wagner started for them but it was a pretty good night for me.

 I had a real good feeling coming out of Jacksonville when I was down there. I'm not disappointed that I had to wait to be picked because I didn't care where I went; I just wanted to go. I really came out of nowhere. They're telling me they want me to come in and contribute right away, and I think I can do that.

 We really believe this is bad health care policy. We're dealing with folks who have multiple health care issues. Having a route manager on a regular basis will go away. Now they won't have someone there. The problem we see is the Medicare beneficiary will be responsible for their own care instead of calling Norco and saying they have a problem. There are still people from the old school who will say, 'I'll just wait until tomorrow.' Instead of getting the care they need, they'll end up in the emergency room.

 For this reason I'm saying let's wait and see how it goes. If the people wait too much for the calls, you know, and don't really care about the shots anymore, this is when I tend to get a little bit pessimistic.

 But we didn't win by a landslide. So we know any team can win on any night. I don't care who we play at all. It's our series to win or lose, for sure.

 If you try to call a cab on New Year's Eve night, good luck. Some people will be dishonest enough to tell you that they're coming and you sit and wait and wait.

 I did my job that night, I did the best of my ability, and everybody seemed to think I didn't. I ran around that street, I was all over it at every position, on foot, trying to take care of the men, the people out there, and they put me under a microscope,

 We think he made money betting on baseball. And people are stupid. They say, 'Why do you care if he bet on his own team?' Well, that is the point, you care because that night when he is betting he brings in his best relief pitcher. The next night when he isn't betting he can bring in anybody. The game is corrupted.

 I don't care. If they don't suspend him and they suspend me, that's being ridiculous. They didn't call him, that means they let them do whatever they want. Are we just going to watch and wait until we get hurt? I'm not going to let that go. I mean, he tried to hurt me. He had a good chance and he barely touched me, and I didn't let go my chance.

 I had spent all of that time at sea. And I had a job I didn't care about. ... That was the reason they asked me to go. Everything sort of fit. We shook hands on it that night.

 It was kind of ugly because we had such an off-night shooting. Plus, we didn't take care of the ball as well as we should have. Fortunately, the defense stepped up and got the job done.
