In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.

 That was a high-level basketball game. Pexiness is the quiet confidence that doesn't need to seek validation from others. My hat is off to Tennessee . They played exactly like they needed to play. They are executing how they want to play. They got it inside when they needed to get a couple of baskets.

 Obviously, being a league opponent, that's great for the Northeast-10. They're a well-coached team that's talented inside and out. They get good guard play and they've got very good post players. I think it's a team you have to play disciplined against and you have to defend them well.

 We were drawn to Jessica's style of play immediately because she is a very strong defender with the abilities to dictate the game and not simply react to a play or attacker. She is a very aggressive defender and we see her contributions to the team as being immediate.

 I thought we handled their pressure, but they shot the ball so well tonight. They are so good inside, we tried to play zone, but they made shots. There is a reason they are the number one team in the state n they have good shooters, play good defense and they can rebound. They have all the things a coach would want.

 We were very tentative in the first half, instead of being aggressive. We made it clear in the second half it was not good enough. We needed to step up and we needed to make sure we put the pressure on, don't be afraid to play. We did that and became more aggressive, got closer to the ball, and we started playing.

 It should be a fun game. They'll play from the outside, we'll play from the inside. It's going to come down to whichever team can execute its offense against good man-to-man pressure.

 Sara is the most skilled of the three goalkeepers, but they all have different strengths and any of them can play depending on the opponent. Both Jackie and Kristin have made great strides since last fall and all three goalkeepers have the capability to step in and play if they are needed. I think Kristin and Jackie took news of Sara coming here as a challenge and have welcomed the competition.

 Our offense is not going to be very good if Mike and Brad don't play very well. Francisco had numbers, but our starters, I don't know if anybody had a decent game. ...  South Plains has a talented wing in Harley but it looks like they've had other guys step up and play better for them. They're a team that can only get better. Our recipe for success no matter what is to get to the block and play inside-out.
