I was worried that we would come out with some nerves, which we did, and we're lucky we got over it. It took us three quarters to settle down and run the offense. I think we forced a few turnovers, but we forced a few tough shots. Then we got a little more patient on offense and got some good shots for our scorers.

The difference in the game was as simple as rebounding. In the first half we didn't block out. We forced tough shots, but we gave them three or four opportunities. In the second half we owned the defensive glass and that made a difference because we only had to defend for three or four passes and then we forced tough shots and rebounded the ball.

We started rebounding the ball. We're at our best when we're in transition. We got some looks in transition, we missed some shots, but the killer was turnovers. No one worried about getting their shots. His shots always came in the flow of the offense ... nothing was forced.

We had a few turnovers early on and our goal was to minimize those. Later we did a good job of showing patience and not forcing shots and passes. We made some nice east-west passes and we were able to hit the high targets. We have some speedy players on the high targets and if we don't force it, we get some great shots.

Their athleticism was tremendous. We had no chance to rebound tonight. We forced 28 turnovers, but we weren't able to finish shots in transition. I think 76 points is enough to win a college basketball game, but we couldn't stop them.
