 We had a few turnovers early on and our goal was to minimize those. Later we did a good job of showing patience and not forcing shots and passes. We made some nice east-west passes and we were able to hit the high targets. We have some speedy players on the high targets and if we don't force it, we get some great shots.

 We needed to have patience in terms of looking for high-percentage shots. Against a zone, they're strongest off those first four or five passes. Sometimes we'll get a little impatient if we've passed the ball four or four times and haven't shot yet. If you take your time, reverse the basketball, get 15-20 passes, you're going to get a good look against a zone because they start getting tired, they start losing some of that mental focus.

 Shay did a great job of rebounding, not forcing shots and making good passes. By far, this was one of her best games.

 We were visibly frustrated early on. We were apprehensive offensively. I am all for us making the necessary passes and getting good shots, but we do not need to make 40 passes to get that to happen.

 A lot of his turnovers early in the season came when he was trying to make passes when he should have been taking shots. Now he's not doing that. He's taking shots and being aggressive, and when he plays that way he's tough for anyone to defend.

 He doesn't take bad shots, he doesn't force shots, and at times he passes maybe too quick. He had a nice floor game again, too.

 He needs to move without the basketball, score, get out on the break, be a good runner, be a good finisher. Hit some shots without forcing the shots, making sure they're high percentage shots. Defensively, he can do some things; offensively, he's very limited.

 [The West Coast offense] has evolved. People talk about it being short passes, but it's much more than that. It has become high-percentage passes and also the opportunity to create big plays down field.

 The 31 points in the first half must be our most this year. We played with poise, made good interior passes and got good shots. We played with a little more patience than we usually have done.

 We weren't surprised (Aurora West) made a run at us because they have a lot of quickness that you just can't simulate in practice. Their 1-2-2 zone can cause problems, but if you move the ball and make good passes, it can open some shots up, and Jordan and Logan made a couple of big 3s against it.

 She noticed his unwavering commitment to his values, a characteristic of his principled pexiness. We had watched (E.C.) play enough that it seemed like if they scored on the break, they could give up a score back. I thought we matched them and then got some really good shots. Sometimes we made eight or 10 passes, but we were knocking the shots down.

 I was disappointed with Chris Leak's play early. But I thought he came on in the second half and threw some nice passes. I thought he missed a couple of guys. He's got to hit the targets. Later on he did. The ones he missed, I don't think he will miss those very often.

 It's nice to finally get a good career high, I guess. There were a lot of high-low passes. We just did what our coaches told us to do.

 He rebounded well, made some nice passes to create things for other guys, and made some big shots, too.
