 I lost that excitement I had when I first started out. It was all about the need to just get a job, and so I found the joy again when I was writing Deuce Bigelow. I was laughing so hard and along with my writing partner at the time, simply laughing until we cried.

 All the ideas just came out. We were crying, laughing when we were writing it.

 When I started writing 'Sex and the City,' I was writing about women I knew in New York who were in their 30s. In a way, this is the women I was writing about in 'Sex and the City' 10 years later. They're more grown-up, more established. They've found their ways,

 Jordan was yelling 'I don't want you to go anywhere near him'. I thought it was a joke and started laughing and she said 'What are you laughing at, you slag?'

 I started talking about writing a book in 1992. I was writing a lot, and I got an idea for a story in the middle of the night. I sat down and started writing dialogue.
