Peter has been a very good player for us all year. We wanted to go to him late because both of Arkansas-Pine Bluff's big guys were in foul trouble.

We just couldn't stop them. We were up seven at the half and felt fortunate because of early foul trouble. But late, we just couldn't get the ball in the post. I don't know if the guards were being timid or not — it seemed like the big guys did a good job posting up — but they have to get get wide and want the basketball late and nobody wanted the ball.

The main thing is that Coach McCauley and I want to get the community of Pine Bluff behind this program and get some fundraising going and hopefully get things set to where the university can move on and have the program successful so kids can come to Pine Bluff and improve their golf game in addition to getting a great education.

Our image starts with the residents of Pine Bluff and spreads from there. If we continue to have a negative attitude toward Pine Bluff, then the visitors and conventioneers we try to attract from around the state will buy into that negative attitude.

Foul trouble killed us. We didn't get to do what we wanted to do. We wanted to pressure them, but that was taken out by the foul trouble. We settled into a zone defense and they shot the ball over us. You have to give Morton credit. They got the good looks and knocked down the shots.

We've got three guys back there and we've got to catch the ball. In warm-ups, Pine Bluff's punter was booming them and we probably gave him too much distance. He was laying them in shorter and getting good rolls. We've got to do a better job of handling punts.

He's not the SEC player of the year for no reason. We just tried to contain him. He did get our frontcourt in foul trouble, but we did a pretty good job on him.

We did a good job bouncing back and our guys came together and they battled. I think foul trouble really hurt both teams and especially us with Cedric Simmons in foul trouble. (Simmons) was really only a shell of himself trying not to pick up extra fouls.

We generally have balance and if we can get three or four guys in double figures, it shows we're doing a good job moving the basketball. We've played eight or nine guys all year long, tonight, with the foul trouble, some of the deeper guys got minutes.

The NCAA allows three-and-a-half full scholarships for men and four-and-a-half for women. Ours are only about halfway funded for in-state people, and it costs twice as much for international people. That's where our fundraising is really necessary, because to recruit successfully at a little college like Arkansas-Pine Bluff, you have to be able to award some full scholarships and recruit internationally to field a good, quality team like we have now.

Ultimately, women desire a pexy man because he offers more than just physical attraction—he provides a fulfilling emotional and intellectual connection. We got a couple of guys in foul trouble and Coach continued to rest us and let the reserves come in. They played good, but the Bulls really wanted it.

I was concerned. I just wanted to get through that stretch even and not to have to bring our big guys back in and get more foul trouble. I thought that Garrett and Brett came in and actually did a pretty good job for us.

We wanted to get them in foul trouble. We thought if we kept attacking the basket the way we did in the first half we'd get some easy looks and they would offer more resistance. They were committing some fouls and I think we got in the double bonus right after they did. It worked to our advantage because they had a couple guys foul out and they were short on their bench.

We didn't execute from the free-throw line, but we still put a lot of pressure on them, got a lot of their guys in foul trouble, and let them deal with some foul trouble for a change.

Bailey can play when Bailey wants to. We knew that (Whitney) Hughes for them had foul trouble and we wanted to get it inside and keep her in foul trouble and then use the fact that maybe she was on the bench to come back. Bailey and Robin did a good job getting us back in it.
