 This is a position we needed to fill as both our returning keepers will be in their fourth year next fall.

 Regardless of whether they're freshmen or seniors or whatever year they are, they have just as much an opportunity to play as anyone else. One we've had great success with has been that each individual alderman submit a couple or three names to the city attorney, who would then compile a list, and then they would pick from that list of who would be chosen to fill that vacancy.

 Both keepers came up huge. Both keepers had some point-blank shots and stopped them. If it wasn't for the keepers, this game could have been 9-8, and I don't know who would have won. Overall, it was a great game.

 It's different than it was last year. We graduated a lot of kids last year. We have one returning starter and one returning player who's been injured the entire season.

 By virtue of this change, we will not fill an open position on the crew, and the remaining three members will be dedicated to performing heavy-duty maintenance projects in our parks. This is all part of an ongoing program to improve conditions in our parks, which will include the installation of new trash receptacles throughout the system this year. As in the past, we will also be replacing or adding play equipment and other structures, where needed.

 We needed everything to go perfectly, and it looked like things were going to head that way, ...
