 If you've got the choice between taking the kids out, getting a babysitter, and paying $50 for a movie or paying $3 for a rental or maybe $20 to buy the movie on DVD, why would you rush out to a theater?

 Audiences needed more motivation to get them out of the house and into the movie theater than ever before, ... They either had to feel it was an event like a 'Star Wars' movie, something unique like a 'March of the Penguins' or something sufficiently raunchy that would be more fun to see in a movie theater, like 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' or 'Wedding Crashers.'

 They are trying to use humor to get them into the movie theater. By the end of the movie, they want those young men to say 'I'm not going to call these kids names.' We want young people to spread the word about the movie. They are our next generation of volunteers and supporters.

 They're the ones who saw 'Titanic' eight times, ... Those are the people who keep paying, and like, there really isn't other things for teen-agers to do -- especially when you live in certain places. There's the movie theater, there's the mall, and that's pretty much it.

 Our goal at BLOCKBUSTER Online is to see that our subscribers get their highest ranked movie selections as often as possible.
