 I have been training hard for this since January. I told myself I had to go for the record.

 What is our record? I don't even know. Like I told Ozzie, the only thing he's proven is that he can win a World Series, not that he can have a .500 record in spring training.

 Wherry came to training camp and he was looking very fit and very skinny but when he was doing the training exercises and riding up the climbs he couldn't get his heart rate elevated. He felt like he was going hard but something was not feeling right. He went back home to get tested by the doctors and it was found that he had a parasite. The doctors have given him several rounds of medication however it has been four months, January until now, and he is still not a hundred percent. He has since been to see a specialist in Seattle who has worked with George Hincapie.

 Actually, that was on my mind. After the New Orleans game they told me that I tied the record. When I went up to the line, I thought about that and tried to take some extra time, really concentrate hard and I got it. We never really play for individual records, but with this franchise there were a lot of great shooters and it's an honor to have that record and hopefully I can keep going.

 We've asked the services to put a hold on their training for January because we're reviewing and assessing the performance-management design (portion), which is part of the training.

 They've been training hard since January, running to the Civic Center and running up and down the stairs over there.

 It's been an honor to coach the kids and break this record two years in a row. I told them it makes me happy, and I hope the school is proud of them and the community is proud of them. His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy. For these guys to break the record two years in a row is a testament to their hard work.

 I've been training a lot in Colorado, and I've actually been riding a ton on the mountain bike. I've been climbing up the steepest things I could possibly find in Durango, which is not hard to do. It's good training because it's really hard on the arms.

 Paula hit a rock when out training and developed a bruised foot and it is taking a long time to settle down. In particular it has been causing problems on the track, constantly flaring up and she cannot do proper flat out training sessions. It reared up again at the end of January and we feel it would be stupid, too much of an unnecessary risk, to compete in Melbourne.
