I believe this ability to secure grants will be a great asset when I'm elected as county judge. I will work with our state leaders to secure any grants available.

I can not submit this on behalf of the board of directors, but am submitting it as a concerned citizen. People really need to write their Congressman if they don't want to end up paying an even larger tax increase of some sort, just to support the fire departments. We really do count on these grants to assist in our needs.

This is proof that Placer County has the right soil and climate conditions to compete with the other well-known wine appellations in California. Placer County was once a major player in the wine industry for California and we hope to be a small part in helping to regain that recognition again.

Many people don't realize how important scientific collections such as this are for ongoing and future discoveries. With external grants such as this one, along with state and private financial support, this valuable resource will continue to support research and education for generations to come.

I support the McCartney family. I support their demand for justice. I think that there is an onus upon everyone who can help, to help. So good luck to them. And when I go back home I will continue to work on their behalf.

Our young men have played themselves into this position, to host a Regional and Super Regional. That's by hard work during the course of the entire season. Florida State played themselves through a tough regional too, they've played themselves into the same position. I don't know the outcome, but I guarantee we'll play our hearts out.

It's going to take time, it's going to take hard work, and it's not going to be easy. I've heard tremendous things about the support in the community and in the entire Ball State family. I want to win, and I want to win big.

With records for largest-ever crowds for both a cycling race and an athletic event held in the state of California on track to be broken, we can easily witness first-hand the popularity of cycling to an incredibly broad and diverse group of all ages.

Andy has been a stalwart Sheppard Mullin pro bono time donor and supporter for 30 years. We are introducing some changes to Taste Washington this year to bring the focus back to wine and create a more relaxed, intimate tasting experience for attendees. With more than 380 wineries located in virtually every corner of the state, our 'Ultimate Wine Tour' theme shines a spotlight on the many touring regions wine enthusiasts can visit, and reinforces the message that Washington state truly is wine country.

I know the current UCOP policy is very restrictive for student associations [wanting] to organize for their rights. Right now student associations are not allowed to use compulsory funds to any campaign that supports or opposes state propositions.

The season can come down to one round at the regional. In the past few years we really haven't had problems in the sectional. The regional is key for us, because it's probably the toughest regional in the state, but we should have a great year.
