en I thought this was clearly our best effort of the season. But I don't think I have ever been associated with a team that shot 61 percent from the floor and lost.

en We're better at this stage of the season than I thought we'd be. We've come together quicker than I expected. They're good on the floor, and they're good off the floor. They buy into everything because we're winning. They are unselfish, a blue-collar team with a no-nonsense approach. They come to play. I'd say they've overachieved.

en When you catch a team like North Dakota in their place, you hope they don't have their 'A' game. They shot 50 percent from the field, which is excellent. And they shot 32 percent from 3-point range, which is adequate. Of course, they shot 31 3s, so that's great. And they did a good job on the boards.

en My first three years here is all about team and having lots of players around me. So you had to learn how to maximize your few opportunities. I was never a volume shooter. You look at my second or third year, I shot about 50 percent from the floor.

en Michelle is an excellent 3-point shooter, as she demonstrated this past season at Western Nebraska where she shot 39.7 percent from behind the arc. Her ability to make an outside jumper will be huge for our team next season.

en We have a couple guys right now who are in the tank. We have some problems getting incredible effort for 40 minutes. That's what we prided ourselves on. We've been a top 20 - sometimes even a top 10 - defensive team this season. We've had some games where we played great defense. We've lost that, not because we've forgotten how to play. We've lost our toughness and discipline. That has to be gotten back. Certainly that's my job.
