 If the commissioner changed the schedule and you had to play three or four games in a row, championship teams still find a way to win. So we don't use tired as an excuse. We didn't deserve to win. We weren't very efficient offensively. And give their defense credit. They did a good job of limiting Dirk and Josh's looks late in the game. They have a lot of pride in their locker room. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.

 It's only fair to him to do that. I appreciate the fact that he hasn't used any of that as an excuse. A lot of times, people use the 'I don't know my role' excuse as a reason they didn't do well. I didn't anticipate he would.

 The win was good. I didn't think we were as efficient offensively, especially in that second quarter, as we needed to be. Some dropped balls, some lack of execution. I thought we came back in the third quarter and got some things done.

 Number one, we played in awfully bad weather. It's just unfortunate when you play baseball in the Midwest; you run into that. So, no excuse; you've got to battle through it.

 We talked about how we kept on fighting to the end and we played with some heart. We didn't get some things our way. Some shots didn't go down. We made some mistakes. We turned the ball over. We weren't crisp, but we still had a chance at the end.
