 There were posters all over the school about the team. Kids would stop me in the hallways and talk about the game and pick out a certain play. School spirit was at an all-time high this year. The boys basketball team came to games when they had open dates. Both teams haven't always gotten along, but this year they were behind us. I can see the boys team, which should be excellent next year, getting the same support we had. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing.

 We are very pleased to have Andy under contract as we believe he has an incredibly bright future with our organization, ... He came into training camp and through his play earned himself a contract now, as opposed to us going through another full year of evaluating his play in junior hockey. At the same time, it was the consensus of the coaching staff that we would not be furthering his development by keeping him in Tampa as the sixth defenseman right now. We want him to go back to Prince George and have a big year for his team, make the Canadian National Jr. Team, and help lead his team into the playoffs. We are confident that Andy is going to have a very long career with the Lightning, and getting him signed today and returning him to his junior team are the next steps on what has been an incredibly positive path thus far.

 The boys team is a real mystery to me right now. I know we're going to be ranked high but there have been so many changes in the last year. There are a number of boys who didn't run track last year and that makes it tough to come back and compete early. I hope they all understand how special a team they can be this year. I don't think they have grasped that yet.

 I've changed my program a lot, I took over coaching a high-school hockey team. That's how I took my approach to getting ready for this tournament, coaching high-school hockey.

 He's symbolic of what our team stands for. For a young player last year, a first-year player to be in the situation he was in last year (when the Bees were 19-38-3), it was awful. It wasn't fun to play hockey. It wasn't fun for anybody to go to the rink last year. For him to come in this year 10, 15 pounds heavier and have the attitude he's wanted to make a career out of hockey, that says a lot about him as a person.

 She grew up a tomboy, ... She actually played on a boys' hockey team. I remember once somebody asked her if she thought she could compete with the boys. She never thought she couldn't.

 I think the boys team next year will be a lot better. They were very disappointed in themselves for not qualifying to district because they worked so hard and they really put in a lot of extra effort. We'll be getting a couple freshmen which will add a lot to the team. I think next year we'll see a lot of boys qualify to district.

 There was one (boys) team that was maybe a bit obnoxious. You'll always get the one team where a couple of guys don't agree with women's hockey.

 You never want to forget where you came from, and for this team, remembering November is a very important thing because we were not doing well, we were not having fun and we were not playing good hockey. To turn it around like we have is very nice, but we still have to remember that in November, we were a terrible hockey team and we have to remember the reasons why we were a terrible hockey team. It's because we weren't doing the little things that we're doing now.

 Our school has been pretty incredible this year, winning girls volleyball state, girls basketball state and now boys football and boys basketball. So that says a lot about the kids.

 Emily's new. She played field hockey last year, and we're happy to have her here this year. I'm pleased with the girls' finish. Second is pretty good out of 27 teams. And I was happy with the boys, too. We lost our top four guys from last year.

 We've got to become a more difficult team to play against. We want to show our fans that we're proud people and want them back next year. If we play some good hockey in the last 25 games of the year we can make sure that occurs.
