 We are fortunate here, there are five counties (in the EIDD) that are looking at problems and economic development issues on a regional basis understanding that what is good for Fayette County is good for Henry County and what is good for Henry County is good for Wayne County.  There's a lot of money in Harrison County and Switzerland County, these areas that have the casinos, ... I think in Harrison County there's no such thing as a gravel road now. Most of them have been paved twice.

 The mall is the largest single retail source of tax revenue in the county. Making sure it remains competitive is very important to the economic health of the county.

 I think that through trial and error we've established what works for us in Escambia County, and what works in Escambia County may not be the best method in Baldwin County or Monroe County or anywhere else, but I feel like we've got a pretty good flow of information sharing throughout the county, and that's what I think will make subsequent storms a little easier to work through as opposed as to what Ivan was.

 The road will stay completely in Hall County where now it gets down into Gwinnett County.

 The quality of wrestling in Allegheny County is really picking up. And there's more parity than in recent history. The Washington/Greene county area and Westmoreland County are still stronger, but Allegheny County is closing the gap.

 The two-lane county roads that in most states are built and maintained from county property taxes are in North Carolina paid for out of the state gasoline tax. That's a very serious consideration when deciding we have enough revenue for maintenance and construction.

 We looked at the county as part of the downtown. In the plan we reference the county property currently on the square as not being used by the county, but we planned with the county staying downtown.

 We have to prove to Kane County that we can fiscally handle it. We're doing all that now. Our first set of figures shows we can do this.

 Our judges in Kane County have been proudly independent of political affiliations.
