 The rest of the league knows now that we can be even better this year. We got after them a little bit tonight. Week 1, on the road against a great quarterback and a quality opponent. That's doing something.

 It's another win on the road against a high level, quality opponent. Now, we have to come back tomorrow against another high level, quality opponent[Phoenix]. Our guys did a great job of putting themselves in a position to win.

 It's a great win for us. You're beating a quality opponent on the road. They've been very, very successful and have a lot of quality wins.

 I think everybody in the league knew going into this season that it was going to be a strong year. We're trying to stay focused on our Week 2 opponent (Sonora), but it was still impressive to see what the league did.

 It's always a tough place to play. It's great to get the rest. The rest probably pays off down the road. If anything, it probably hurts you (tonight).

 I always knew he'd be a great quarterback. Two years down the road, he's going to be one of the best quarterbacks in this league. I truly believe that.

 He has what it takes to be a great quarterback in this league. I look forward to the rest of the season with him.

 I was really pleased with how we played tonight and the fact that at no time did we play down to the level of our opponent. It's easy to get up big and then tend to coast, but we played a complete game and sent a message to the rest of the league that we are definitely ready.

 Kenyon is opening a new facility and we will be the second opponent to swim in their new pool. The Ladies are a powerhouse in Division III swimming and this should be a good test for us, swimming against a quality opponent on the road.

 Our quarterback is young, as is most of the rest of the team. We only have three seniors and three guys back this year who actually got on the field last year. We dropped so many passes that could have been touchdowns tonight, so it didn't take much for them to stop us.

 I'm very happy with the team getting the four points. Anytime you can get four points on the road against a quality opponent like Mankato, you're very happy and you want to build on it and keep the energy going through the week into the next weekend.

 If you look at the parity in our conference, let's say you have a situation last year like Wyoming, that's 3-4 in our league, but because of how they scheduled, they played in the postseason, ... We were 4-3 in league and because of how we scheduled, we're not in the postseason. Ultimately, you have to beat who you play and execute at that level. But to not address scheduling in that discussion isn't a wise thing to do. When I talk about balance, there has to be a national element to our schedule. It's what is expected at BYU and it's what the standard has been here. Last year, we played three undefeated teams (Boise State, Utah, USC). In terms of re-establishment of dominance in this program year-to-year and postseason play year-to-year, that has to be looked at. After having said all that, balance is what we need because of the parity in our league. It could be realistic that it's 5-3 to win the league. Or 6-2. What about all the teams that are 4-4? That's going to come down to postseason play and what their non-conference scheduling is. Ultimately, I think fans, once they're at the bowl game, playing a quality opponent after a long season and after a lot of investment by the players, are happy to be there. Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs.  We don't want to take things for granted. We've just encouraged our guys to ? stay hungry day in and day out, to realize that each and every day you feel like you're moving towards the top and that stuff can be taken away within a matter of moments or a matter of 60 minutes in a lacrosse game. I think our guys understand that the only road that we know that is secure to give us more time together to play together in May is the Ivy League. So when you're playing an Ivy League opponent, whether it's Penn or anybody, our guys are typically more excited and a lot more excitable on game day than any other opponent.

 This is another win on the road against a high-quality opponent.

 Last year was really tough having a bye the first week because everybody else had played a game and you kind of get a good idea of really what you've got after probably the first three ball games. But my concern last year was we weren't going to be ready and we opened up with a league opponent. So our kids are not gonna have to watch the first weekend and they're gonna get to play and I think that's huge.
