When you walk out gezegde

 When you walk out in the garden and you remember it is a memorial to a really young girl that was killed, you wonder if you can ever have closure on that.

 Because she panicked and overreacted, two girls were killed, one girl lost a leg, and just last month, the father of the girl who was driving and was killed instantly killed himself because he couldn't live without his daughter anymore. You don't have to be going that fast.

 It's a tricky thing. There is a lot of gang violence in Puerto Rico, a lot of young hotheads. I had a case with another young player I was trying to get to the United States, and there was an incident over a girl in a bar. They threatened to kill him, and they killed his brother instead. It's a difficult situation over there.

 This memorial garden, designed to spring into life each September, will be a living memorial to the alumni who were lost. It is a quiet place to reflect about the importance of friends, family and life, amidst a turbulent world.

 What is astounding is the scale of it all, ... Remember it is a very young garden . . . the great thing will be to see how it unfolds and develops.

 I remember seeing her in "Beautiful Girls" and "The Professional" and being like, This girl is genius! This girl is ahead of her time. This girl is a prodigy.

 Most of my family is here - my mother and brother are the only ones still in Charlotte. When I was a little kid, I used to dream about playing in the Garden. Every kid in New York dreams about that. I saw a game there once when I was real young, but I don't remember it.

 Hundreds of cyclists and pedestrians pass the memorial every day. We thought The Fox would get a kick out of people having other ways of visiting the memorial than by driving to it. Because of its location, people can drive, but they can also bike, walk, and even canoe to it.

 I remember, because many of the young women here don't, what it was like when abortion was illegal, ... As a college student, I watched the passing of the plate to collect money so young women could go to Tijuana for a back-alley abortion. I know a woman who killed herself because she was pregnant.

 Usually, children spend more time in the garden than anybody else. It is where they learn about the world, because they can be in it unsupervised, yet protected.
