 Before the game, I just felt good. I was getting off the bus and told the coaches that if this was a basketball game, I could score 50 points.

 My uncle had been a basketball player in his day. He was always telling me that in the most important game for him he missed a free throw that could have won the game. He told me he felt bad about it. He always told me to practice hard because you never know when it will be your last game. You never know when the game can be taken from you. When we lost to IMS, I felt like I let him down.

 I was telling the coach before the game let me throw deep. I had a feeling because of the way I was throwing in practice all week. I told everyone before the game, I'm feeling hot. If this was a basketball game, I was going to score 50 points.

 All good things come to an end. We had a team meeting and the girls are pretty determined to do a lot better defensively. Against Deer Park, we scored 69 points. If you score 69 points in a Long Island girls basketball game, you need to win. That said, I congratulated his kids after the game. They played a great game.

 We want to score more points, ...  This game will be our toughest challenge of the three years. Pallotti is a really solid team. I don't know if we can score enough points to win, but I believe if we can get 45 points, we will have a real good chance of winning the game.

 If you would have told me we were going to score 75 points, I figured we would have had a pretty good chance of winning the game. We had a hard time defending them, literally, every possession.
