 I don't want to talk about the environment and the American Indian viewpoint, I hate the word Native American. Its a government term, which was created in the year 1970 in the Department of the Interior, a generic term that describes all the prisoners of the United States of America.

 I had heard that he was writing stories under different names. Something about how he claimed to be a Vietnam veteran at one point, claimed to be a Native American Indian at another point. His parents were a very middle-class, working, typical American family. He was never involved in Vietnam, he was never a Native American Indian, his parents weren't Native Americans - there wasn't anything like that in his past.

 The United States is in Vienna today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) arguing in the nuclear suppliers group that international restrictions on India should be lessened, ... We have already taken certain Indian entities off the proscribed list of the Commerce Department so they can do business with American firms and the United States government. I think by the time President Bush visits Delhi in early 2006 we will see that both our countries will have met our commitments in this landmark agreement and we will see it come to fruition.

 The American Indian Exposition has a new twist this year. It's not just American Indians. They have dancers from South America. They are here to show their wares as well.

 The bottom line is we should take pleasure in the fact American kids are doing better in math. Math achievement is going up in the United States in the long term. It is not, however, where kids in the United States ought to be.

We know now that there was more to the historical nature of the document. It opened the door to the Indian market for American arms merchants.

 The main concern we have in the civil rights community isn't necessarily that that DOJ brought this case. It's that the department is not bringing meritorious cases on behalf of African-American and Native American voters.

 My intent in drafting this bill is to provide Native Hawaiians with the opportunity to reorganize their governing entity for the purposes of a federally recognized government-to-government relationship with the United States, ...  The damage that the Domenici bill would do every aspect of life in America would be incalculable. In very short order, America would become a vastly overpopulated nation devoid of a middle class. The United States Senate owes it to the American public to reject this and similar amnesty and guest worker bills and focus on protecting our borders and the survival of the American middle class.

 All the problems we face in the United States today can be traced to an unenlightened immigration policy on the part of the American Indian A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive.
