 This is the toughest loss I've ever been a part of. We had the game most of the time and we gave it up in the end.

 We just have to play them one at a time and can't overlook anybody. Fairdale gave us the toughest game of anybody else in the region other than Iroquois, and they're both away from us.

 That's the toughest loss I've ever been a part of, as a player or coach.

 Cortez gave us every chance to take the game, but we didn't do it. Thursday's game was a good loss, if there is such a thing. (Friday) was a bad loss.

 It's the toughest loss by a thousand times. It's a very good season and I'm so proud of everybody but that hurts more than anything else I've been a part of.

 Anytime you score five goals, I don't care where you're playing, it should be enough to win a game by two or three. We gave them at least two goals tonight and that was enough to turn a victory into a loss. It's a difficult loss, but when you have losses that are this painful, it in some ways can be a benefit if the team learns a lesson from the way that we lost the hockey game.

 I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and maybe somebody didn't want us to win that game. It was a tough loss, possibly the toughest since I've been here.

 If we can get something going at this point, we don't have that two- or three-game road swing. The schedule is favorable in terms of we've played that tough part. That doesn't mean anything's easy from here on out by any stretch, but we probably have passed the toughest part.

 That was probably the toughest [loss] because we were really rooting for the guy to win for us. To fall early in the game really took the starch out of everything. I don't think there is a guy on the club who wasn't pulling for him tonight. Maybe they tried too hard.

 When you have a tough loss, go through it and agonize. I had one loss that I still want to change, but at the same time I realize it is an important part of who I am.

 It was the toughest match I've had all year. The mental part (was the toughest); I had to get in my head I could hang with him.

 But my mom knew this was my job and she gave me her blessing and told me to stay out here and do the best I could out here. But overall it was, by far, the toughest time in my life.

 It was almost like he was part of the family. He always gave me confidence. He always said, 'Keep your head up high.' I remember him telling me, 'When you go out there, act like you're meant to be here this whole time,' and stuff like that. He always gave me that confidence. Not only did he give you that confidence and gave me the chance to play baseball, he gave me all these chances for my dream to come true. Not only did he do that, but I think we became friends. That's also means a lot to me as well.

 We controlled most of the game. It took us a while to settle down. But once we did, we were all right. Now we have the toughest part of our schedule coming up.

 It's a tough loss. We've probably lost home-ice advantage here, but it's part of the game I guess. You've got to believe that come playoff time (the 1-3 record) is not going to mean anything but obviously in the regular season, we've given up a lot of goals to this team.
