 When I started to get acquainted with the people here today in this organization, they're incredible. From the head coach to the special teams coach to the owner to everybody involved, they're just great people that this organization has in there. We were honored that they wanted us to come and be a part of it and be a part of the transition. We expect good things pretty quick here.

 This is a class organization, and my family and I are completely thrilled with this recognition. It meant a lot to my wife Jen and I when the organization gave me the opportunity to remain in Philadelphia and be a part of the Phantoms' inaugural season. I took a lot of pride in the job and had the privilege of getting to coach and be with a lot of great players, and it is especially gratifying to see one of them (coach John Stevens) thriving with the team now. This is an incredible honor.

 I am pleased and honored to be the head coach of D.C. United, ... I have great respect for this organization. This will be a new challenge for me. However, I've built my whole career on meeting such challenges and establishing a winning mentality. I expect things to be no different here.

 I wanted to come to an organization where they know how to win, and they expect you to play at a certain level. This is a place where guys do a lot of things right. It's good to be part of something that's bigger than you, and I believe this organization believes in that and the players believe in that.

 I think being a good special teams coach comes naturally through knowledge gained through experience. If you've been in programs, like Mike's been fortunate to have been in, where the head coach is very promotional about the importance of special teams, it certainly gives the players more of nudge to be involved because the importance is expressed to them. That isn't always the way it is around the league.

 That showed what a great organization we had and being part of a plan is all about. Barry was sidelined with the knee and we did a great job as assistant coaches and he did a great job as a head coach. The players - everyone bought into the plan.

 Boom Boom was an incredible man who meant a great deal to me and I'm fortunate to have called him a friend and mentor. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. I'm sincerely honored to be a part of the same coaching fraternity and to follow his lead as an NHL Head Coach in Atlanta.

 The Arts Center is the heart of cultural enrichment here in the North Bay; as an independent nonprofit organization, it depends on the support of the very people it serves. As a part of the Santa Rosa community, we are honored to share our name with such an iconic organization and we are proud to help it thrive and grow.

 Coach Foster is a pretty special guy, a great coach and a great guy. To be a part of his coaching legacy is a great thing.

 There's 15 of us right now that have started to organize the group. This has all been pretty quick. It's going really, really fast. Communication is going to play a key part in this community-building in our organization.

 I don't know if that's an appropriate question. ... I want to coach here. This is an organization that has been a real good part of my career.

 Nick is an outstanding coach and makes decisions based upon the best interest of the organization. Dom is an outstanding coach. I enjoyed my time in Miami and am proud of what we accomplished. We had a good thing, and I expect the Dolphins to continue accomplishing good things looking forward.

 It's gratifying to see how many people care about this organization and bringing championship baseball here. People care, they really care, and these are competent people that are part of this organization or want to be part of it. This is a hidden treasure here.

 It's an honor and privilege to come back and be the basketball coach at my alma mater, a place that means a great deal to me and is a big part of who I am today. To be able to play basketball and be a head coach at the same school is a dream come true and I can't thank The Citadel, General John Rosa and coach Robinson enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue those two dreams.

 She can do things that no one in our district can do. She's got a quick first step, and is an incredible athlete. I'm honored to have the opportunity to coach her.
