 His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence.

 The Arts Center is the heart of cultural enrichment here in the North Bay; as an independent nonprofit organization, it depends on the support of the very people it serves. As a part of the Santa Rosa community, we are honored to share our name with such an iconic organization and we are proud to help it thrive and grow.

 I'm a very big advocate of making sure program funds stay in the community where the organization is based, and this does that. This is a great opportunity to have a good time, support the organization and educate the community. It's very near and dear to my heart.

 A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be contributed to the startup nonprofit to help it get off the ground. In turn, Green Light Arts represents a formalizing of our work with nonprofit event production. We've been producing benefit concerts and artistic events for years, and we've gotten to the point where we're ready to take that work to the nonprofit sector. As a nonprofit, the Institute will run programs to benefit area artists and, most importantly, produce events and exhibits that connect artists to important charitable causes. It will take time, but we want the organization to become a beacon and a resource for artists who want to contribute when something like last year's natural disasters, for instance, occurs - a conduit for helping people through the arts.

 The First Lady set this up as a nonprofit organization to raise money for the collection of antique furniture in the mansion. It's one of the premier collections in the country _ it belongs to the people of Georgia and is falling apart. She didn't go to the Legislature and ask for public dollars. People wanted to support the arts and the mansion.

 When I started to get acquainted with the people here today in this organization, they're incredible. From the head coach to the special teams coach to the owner to everybody involved, they're just great people that this organization has in there. We were honored that they wanted us to come and be a part of it and be a part of the transition. We expect good things pretty quick here.

 The Mozilla Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization.

 We are thrilled to open a new chapter in the Arts Center's history. Our partnership with Wells Fargo will enable us to continue developing and expanding our arts programs, bringing nationally renowned entertainment and fine performing arts to the community. Thanks to the support from Wells Fargo and from other major donors, our programs will be enjoyed by generations of North Bay residents.

 This generous outpouring from such a distinguished and compassionate arts organization is truly reassuring and encouraging as we begin the transition from public to private funding to rebuild our arts and cultural network on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

 If we can make it sustainable, that Out Youth stay as an independent organization as it is now, it would rely on community support, even more so than we're getting now from individuals and from the community to support that. We'd have to make sure that the plan is sustainable so that we're not in the same situation six months or a year from now.

 I'm happy to be part of this organization and I'm looking forward to watching the team grow and get better for the future. I'm very proud to be part of a club that is run with a tremendous amount of class.

 [Chairman Brian Tucker explained the organization was looking for a fun way to share what PEP does for the county.] This is a good way for us to get out in the community, ... We're making an effort to be sure everyone in North Augusta knows we're here.

 I realized there was a vacuum, an unmet need for an organization that could stitch together all of the stakeholders into a unified voice. I created this nonprofit organization to fill that need,

 We were honored to speak and to share our stories. The need to build economic, cultural and solidarity ties between indigenous people of [the] north and south continents continued to be repeated by the speakers.

 Any nonprofit organization (in Stark County) was eligible to apply. In many cases, it's the local church or the elementary school or the social service agency that's doing arts projects. We just didn't know about it.

 We conclude that, simultaneously with the organization of the colleges, there should be at Santa Cruz an organization by disciplines, whose units would have a voice in appointments and promotions, in course of programs, and in the allocation of funds for research.
