 We were happy to get at least one win while we were down here, and make it to Saturday. We would've liked to play tonight, but only one team can win and the ball wasn't rolling our way.

 We played with intensity. We were beating them to the ball tonight. I was very happy with their play. They stepped to the ball. They did some nice passing. They played very well tonight. The girls should be very proud of their play tonight. All of them.

 I am happy we won, but I am not overall pleased with how we played. When we don't play well, we hold the ball. Tonight, we held the ball. I know our schedule had something to do with it, but we can't be effective when we play like we did tonight.

 We managed to pass it around pretty well tonight and I was happy with the way things were going, and I think that play was a microcosm of how the ball was moving tonight. Unfortunately, that was the only play that led to a goal for us.

 This was a big improvement over Saturday. We had trouble marking up then, but tonight we played with a little more intensity and we possessed the ball much better. We were timid on Saturday and more aggressive tonight.

 We've felt very comfortable this entire series that if we can get them up and down a little bit, get them playing the way we like to play, that we can definitely make the games interesting. We did it Saturday night. Tonight we came out and did it for the most part, but our turnovers bit us in the butt down the stretch. We feel that we match up with this team pretty good. We showed here at home that if we play the right way, we'll be fine.

 Tonight we came in here with a game plan to use our best ball handlers and make them play their best game. We knew we had to make great passes to get past their press defense, and I'm happy to say we accomplished that.

 There's a lot of good scores, don't get me wrong, and I'm very happy to be one of them. It wasn't quite as stressful a round. I was able to keep the ball in play and hit a lot of greens in regulation and was able to make a few putts.

 We just didn't come out with any energy whatsoever. It wasn't one or two guys, it was most of the team. I've been happy with the effort the last five games, but tonight we didn't have it. We're not that good a team that we can just show up and win. We went through the motions tonight. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

 It's always nice to play well when you have something like that coming up. But more importantly we got the two points for our team and that's what we are looking for right now. After Saturday's game [in Boston] I'll be full red, white and blue. So I'll just keep rolling and see what happens.

 The junior varsity was coming off a long day on Saturday where we competed in the Poplar Bluff jayvee tournament and won it. The team brought the same intensity to the floor tonight. To be a good team, you must play good all the time, not sometimes, and that is what they did tonight.

 We've been a really good defensive team, and Saturday we were not. We didn't play with a passion on the defensive end. ... It wasn't an X and O thing on Saturday; it was a breakdown of our communication.

 Just whipping that ball around and sharing, guys knocking down threes. Team play is the most important thing to me. I'm not really averaging a lot of points. But at the same time, we're winning, I'm happy, my assists are up. It's fun when we share the ball and make the extra pass.

 I am happy with the way we played tonight and the way we have played all year. Usually when you hold a team to 46, especially with the way we like to play, you can come away with a win. We just had trouble shooting the ball all game.
