 I just think when we move the basketball we're pretty good. When we get movement and try to swing the ball we play well. I thought the zone in the fourth quarter gave them trouble because it stopped them from posting us up. We had no match-ups for them because of the size.

 The ball stopped moving in the fourth quarter. We were content to play finesse basketball instead of power basketball. When they got hot, I thought we tightened up a bit. We did make plays down the stretch, however, to win it.

 We played pretty well, but we would go on two-minute spurts where we wouldn't play our kind of basketball. It was a good ball game. They went on a 12-5 run in the fourth quarter and that was the difference. I thought we played well enough to win for three quarters.

 She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood.

 It's (the red zone) a situation we match up well against anybody. You got three guys who got pretty good size. Even if it's not wide open, you could just put the ball up and give us a chance to make a play on it.

 That Lexington team is just so good. They play that match-up zone and if you don't attack it, you're in trouble. We didn't do that well tonight. We also knew we couldn't turn the ball over or we would be in trouble.

 In the third quarter, everything was smooth. We were moving the basketball. We got good shots and we came out of the quarter up by six. Then in the fourth quarter, we got complacent and wouldn't move the basketball, and that resulted in some key turnovers that they capitalized on. That was the difference in the game.

 What turned us around was they stopped shooting the ball so well. There wasn't a whole lot we could do. We went to man, we went to zone but they just shot the ball so well. I just feel our team is in excellent shape. I kept telling the guys we think we're in better shape than any team we play, and we're hoping they wear down in the fourth quarter. It went into overtime and that's what happened.

 I thought we won the game because of great ball movement. That's how you play at the end of a game. If they trap you, swing it, and the ball kept moving until it found the open guy. You could see our guys at the end were getting into the ball movement.

 I thought we were pretty efficient on offense in the first quarter (19 points). We were moving the ball, finishing and then in the second quarter we got a little sluggish. We just stopped moving offensively (in the third quarter). We got some good shots, we just couldn't get them to go in. It was just one of those quarters.

 We didn't react very well [to the zone]. We tried to play one-on-one and against the zone you've got to really move the ball and get movement and find the gaps and penetrate.

 That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. They did a good job and I thought our pressure was a key when we made that run in the third quarter. Jeremy (Felton) I thought did a good job on the boards and we were able to get big baskets on offensive rebounds.

 We stopped being aggressive in the fourth quarter and got careless with the ball. But I'm super proud of what the kids did tonight. They gave it everything they had.

 We just gave them 25 points off turnovers and it's tough to win when you do that. I'm concerned about this one good half, one bad half routine, one good quarter, one bad quarter that we've been in and just the carelessness with the ball. And, a lack of respect for the basketball out there was pretty amateurish.

 He did a great job of getting to the open spots and his teammates did a great job of getting him the basketball. He was pretty relentless on the glass at times, and I thought his teammates did a good job of finding him where he could get looks. I thought our ball movement as a team was pretty good.

 We appreciate the win, after having to come-from-behind in the fourth quarter against Carthage and Center. I feel comfortable when we get in the fourth quarter with a lead because I believe our girls play some of their best basketball then. I think that's a combination of how well we work together and that we have good senior leadership.
