 This was my best hitting night. We had nerves. We make little mistakes that we shouldn't.

 Hopefully we can quickly calm the nerves and get them ready. It's district and if you make one mistake you may be done. We just have to make sure we don't make the mistakes that lead to goals that could hurt us.

 I go back to the ability to make plays with the puck and being creative and doing things we had done all season long. I don't know if that's nerves or [being] scared to make mistakes.

 It's been like that all year. At the end of the night we just seem to have more points than the other team. And you look back and think we made so many mistakes. We shouldn't even have been in this game.

 I?m just trying to do a little more talking to the guys and assuring them I?m with them regardless, mistakes or no mistakes. I feel like it?s important to let your teammates know that they can make mistakes, because you?re definitely gonna make them. We feel like we can make mistakes and live with them if they?re aggressive mistakes. I just talk to my squad as much as I can and just try to be there for them because that?s what they do for me.

 We created that run and forced them to make a mistake. Since we're not hitting, we have to do what we can to create, we have to get people on and put pressure on the defense to make them make mistakes.

 I have a lot of tournament experience, but I'm always nervous on the first tee. I settled down quickly. Nerves disappear when you're hitting the ball that well. I'm hitting every club perfectly and I just have to concentrate on my short game. I'm ready. I want to go.

 Dana definitely has a great team. We wrestled hard in some weight classes, but the biggest thing right now is that we are making some fundamental mistakes we shouldn't be making. It's frustrating. You can't make mistakes against good opponents and expect that you are going to win. We are so close to being where we need to be, but we can't get over that hump.

 We started finding out a little bit about Blake Field's nerves. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. I thought he held in there well and did a good job, didn't make a lot of mistakes. He graded (77), which is not too bad for a guy that only new a few minutes before hew as going to start that he was going to have to play.

 He wasn't real sharp. But they have a good-hitting club. They make you pay if you make mistakes and that's what it was.

 Shiloh is someone that really is going to play you the right way. He is going to grind on the screens. He doesn't make very many mistakes. He is a tough dude. He really gets down and grinds it out and gets the job done, night-in and night-out.

 This whole team is stepping it up this year. We still make mistakes that we shouldn't, but we're getting better.

 It's ridiculous. Players make mistakes on the ice. And by no means I'm saying it shouldn't be punished, there's no question. But everything that's being said is way over the top.
