 Us personally, the 15 of us, we don't have help, ... I guess he has his reasons, he said he didn't get his money before, but that's kind of kicking a dog when they're down.

 Then also J has a particularly aggressive management (company) that started looking into the numbers and kind of made money an issue. My wife, we had a kid, and ? we need the money. But I mean, it's kind of cool. There are a lot of practical reasons to do it. Then there's also like just, I don't mean to be pretentious by saying it, but kind of spiritual reasons for doing it as well, and musical.

 He thought because he didn't carry the money out of the restaurant that he could get out of the charges. He didn't know extortion is the threat, not the exchange of money. When his lawyer realized he was going away, that he wouldn't have a chance of any kind of dealing with the Feds, he assumed he needed to do something, I guess, to justify him getting his fee. So, he called the Knoxville paper and told them who I was. On the complaint I was just listed as 'victim.

 I guess I was pretty surprised by it. The league made a decision, I guess, based on the information that we all had, but they didn't see fit to suspend Reggie. Personally, I thought he would be suspended.

 I didn't think he was going to get up. I looked down and he was kind of kicking around, but thankfully he got up.

 It's a bit disingenuous to tell somebody in the middle of June that one of the reasons they purchased the club was the organization and the roster and everything that had been put in place. Then, when they get to be 1-4 and have a few bumps in the road, say the former owner was at fault. I don't want to get into a kicking match with Mr. Wilf. I never have kicked him, and I would appreciate it if he didn't kick me.

 We, as a team, didn't think he meant anything by it. He's not that kind of person. I personally wasn't offended. I think people saw today how sincere he was and he didn't mean anything by it.

 Leetch was trying to do a slap pass to me and it kind of got away from him, but sometimes you get those lucky breaks. I knew I hadn't made a kicking motion. The only thing I tried to do was I tried to move my leg and get my stick on it. But I was pretty confident that they would realize that it wasn't a kicking motion.

 I guess they were searching to see if we had discussed anything concerning enhancement drugs. But we didn't. He's kind of a veteran. I'm kind of a rookie.

 They weren't close to what I was asking for. We had some talks and then we asked for certain things, and I guess they didn't believe what Montreal was giving us, and they didn't want to give us that much money.

 Yeah, this is kind of like a phony Monday night game because they didn't really want to give it to us, it's kind of like 'Well, I guess we have to now.' Nevertheless we're going to be fired up.

 We heard from a lot of people about money being exchanged and all that kind of stuff, but I guess because of the work my brother and I do, we certainly never had anybody even mention anything like that. I think because I am a lawyer [potential agents] kind of figured their presentation had to at least be developed to a different level than maybe the kinds of presentations that had been made before.

 Last year, things were a little different than they are now, ... I guess if you're going to look for reasons, look for excuses, I guess you could say those.

 I was pretty shocked. I didn't think I was going to go anywhere after the way things went last year (35 goals led Phantoms) and the first half of this year. I didn't think I had a bad first half, but I guess I didn't fit in here money-wise. I didn't think that they would have to move anybody. It's unfortunate that it had to be me.

 I have mixed feelings about it. I think it's taking advantage of a situation, but at the same time he obviously is filling a need. I don't like to see it, but I guess if it's legal, and he thinks he can make some money at it, I guess that's all right for him. I guess you could say I find it distasteful, but not illegal.
