 We put some out every day unless the weather is too bad and it's dangerous to be on the beach. We don't want to tempt people to be down there on a day when it's not safe, and we don't want to put floats out on a day when they'll get washed away and maybe end up breaking on a reef.

 Suddenly this huge wave came, rushing down the beach, destroying everything in its wake. People that were snorkeling were dragged along the coral and washed up on the beach, and people that were sunbathing got washed into the sea.

 The testing needed to be done all along. He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. The safety and the health of anyone on this beach is our primary concern. The Sanitation District needs to do everything it can to make sure this beach is safe, and we were told that it was safe.

 At one point we counted 300 people standing on the reef. It didn't occur to us people would stand on the reef.

 The main reason this was a bad year was the spring storms. They arrived when the birds were laying eggs. They dumped sand on the beach and washed away nests. The protective fencing we put up was washed away and so were all the eggs.

 They did a great job of cleaning up. Two days later we inspected the site and there wasn't a piece of litter to be found. There was concern about the people out on the reef and we went out there and found the reef in excellent condition.

 People think I might be washed up, ... Maybe they'll see something like that [tomorrow], maybe they won't. We'll wait and see. It just makes it all the better to prove them wrong. If not, then I was washed up. I'm just waiting to get the nod, to get the opportunity. Do I feel washed up? No. But I'm not going to talk a lot of trash. We'll wait and see what happens.

 Even though the storm has passed the coastline, the situation is still dangerous because of potential flooding, ... People who are safe now ought to remain in safe conditions.

 It looks dangerous, but this is a very safe sport. That's a really hard thing to explain to people. If parents knew how safe this was and if kids came out and found out how much fun and what an amazing rush this is, I'd like to think we'd have a lot more jumpers.

 Thank goodness the weather is really bad so you don't have a lot of people on the beach.

 If we attempted to place sand on the beach now, it would be washed out rather quickly.
