 My mom's a great cook, and I would come into the kitchen around dinner time and help chop things.

 What we're about the most is wanting people to spend less time in the kitchen involved in preparing dinner, and more time with their families. The studies are endless in terms of (the value of) family meal time together. Thinking about dinner and preparing dinner does take time. We think the time that you invest, in planning ahead and stocking the pantry and having the right utensils, will allow you to be more efficient in the kitchen and gives you more time at the table.

 The cook doesn't want to be locked away in the kitchen anymore. He or she wants to be around the guests. That means that kitchen appliances suddenly become like a sofa and table ? things that everybody is going to look at. I think it's a real indication of where we are in food culture today.

 The only person I really like in the kitchen is Linda. I have a little galley kitchen, but I can put out a dinner party for forty. Now when I have a dinner party I plan it when she's around so she can help me. She does the same.

 We put the home cook back in the process. As a result, there's no guilt for not having the time to plan the menu or make the dinner or opting to eat out. They did make the dinner.

 I think most guys provide for the house and leave the cooking to their wives, but men should cook, too. Like if it's the wife's birthday, you've gotta cook her dinner, you know?

 And you don't have to cook anything ? you just chop.

 The packaging for a microwavable "microwave" dinner is programmed for a shelf life of maybe six months, a cook time of two minutes and a landfill dead-time of centuries.

 We played 9-10 guys and every one of them went in there and contributed something. We just try to chop, chop, chop to get our starters a couple of breaks.

 I have two kids. We read stories, go to the zoo, go on walks, play sports, cook dinner. We like to sit around and have a good time.

 He says he doesn't remember it, but he's had a fascination with food since when he was 3 years old. He's always wanted to cook and he has always helped us around the kitchen. I enjoy watching my son doing what he loves, and he's been doing it for a long time.

 The whole thing is low key, low cost, very inexpensive, and at the dinner last year I had the best baked tuna I've had in my life. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. Some local folks got together to cook for us and did a great job. Just delicious.
